This was an amazing stay. While it wasn't directly on the river, my room had an eventful river view and it was about an 8ish minute walk to the river and Yalu Bridge. This hotel is connected to a mall with some pastry shops, noodles, a pizza restaurant and a starbucks so in the dead of winter (we came in Feb) it was convenient. A huge perk is the fact that it was a stones throw from the rail station, about 5 minutes walking. Thank you to 王君瑶 Coco Wang for helping make our stay special. I highly recommend this hotel.

Really enjoyed the use of the gym and pool areas. Breakfast was amazing!! A good room with bath and super comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking below the Wanda Plaza, around 3 to the Yalu river with plenty of shared bikes around too.

The location is great and the price was reasonable for a 5 star hotel. However, there were some things that seemed lacking of a 5 star hotel. The CONS - Rooms come with heavy smoke smell and ashtray even if asking for non smoking, and it was open smoking in the lobby and even elevators. I would have loved a bathtub instead of only a shower. The breakfast was very good for the price (48 rmb) but didn't include juices and their attempt at adding bacon was horrific as it was a fake street sausage type of bacon that's bright red and inedible. There was brand-name water bottles and then there was the hotel water bottles in the room and there was a menu charging 2 rmb to heat up water. I am not sure how they would know or if this is to charge for the people who steal the tea and coffee. But I would expect to boil water for free. Also the gym closed at 19:00 and it seemed a bit early. The PROS - The beds were comfortable. The staff did their best to accommodate and even allowed picking up luggage later. The coffee shop inside had great coffee if you dont mind the smoke. The breakfast was a great value for 48 rmb. The location was great and convenient. The hotel was able to check us in to the room early with availability. The hot spring SPA was amazing as well since there was no pool but you need to be careful not to let them give you extra services (which are sub par) and just enjoy the hot water and sauna for free when you buy something.

The advantages and disadvantages of the hotel are obvious. The advantage is the superior geographical location, facing the Broken Bridge of the Yalu River, and it is not far to walk to the two cruise ship docks. The parking lot is large and has sufficient parking spaces, but the hotel accepts external vehicles, which makes the privacy of the guests staying in the hotel much worse. During the day, the car will most likely be parked far away from the back entrance of the hotel. The disadvantages are old facilities and old decoration style. If you ignore the advantages of the geographical location, the decoration and facilities are not as good as those of the Four Seasons Hotel. The breakfast is just edible, and the staff service is the most unsatisfactory. If the old hardware such as facilities is a problem that cannot be solved in the short term, then the soft conditions such as service attitude should be solved immediately. I hope the hotel can provide corresponding services according to the corresponding star rating.

I hesitated for a long time before checking in. I read reviews saying that the hotel is old, the sanitary conditions are average, and it is not at the level of a five-star hotel. Hygiene: Overall, I think it is OK and comfortable. The bathroom is clean and there is no odor in the room (I live on the 16th floor and the windows can be opened for ventilation, which is a good review), but there is some dust on the bedside table and a little fine dust on the bedding. I am not particularly obsessed with cleanliness, so it is generally acceptable. Geographic location: This is my favorite, right by the river. You can walk to Moon Island downstairs, which is suitable for tourists who are willing to stroll. Looking at the river view makes me feel open-minded, and it can also satisfy my curiosity to observe North Korea. It takes 10 minutes by taxi to central attractions such as the Broken Bridge, and 10 minutes to the Dandong Ship. It is in the middle, and it is very convenient to travel. It takes 10 minutes by taxi to Dandong Station. Service: The service is in place and meets the five-star standard. The service of Miss Chen Songling at the front desk is good. Facilities: The bed is an old-fashioned spring bed, not very soft, more suitable for people like me with lumbar disc herniation. The breakfast variety is rich, there is still a gap from other five-star hotel breakfasts, but it is OK.

In order to go to Yanji, I stopped in Dandong for one stop and booked the Vienna International Hotel. As soon as I entered the lobby, I saw the staff doing hygiene. If you book a standard single room, you have to go through a corridor to another elevator. The hotel with elevator access is still very safe. The room is not big, but it is clean and tidy. The oil paintings decorated on the walls of the hotel are very artistic. The price is not expensive

It is on the right side when you come out of the station, but the big words on the roof are not friendly to myopia at night if you don't turn on the lights. I can't find the place. The hotel is an old hotel. I can see the black hair on the basin. The mattress is also very cold. I have stayed in so many hotels, and this mattress is the coldest and the hardest~ But the service is very good, and I slept warmly all night. I may never come to Dandong again. It's too expensive. This hotel is still affordable. The cheapest one in other hotels is 500 yuan, and the better ones are 700 or 800 yuan. . I am not willing to stay in this hotel for more than 400 yuan. Even if I spend money, I hope it is equal. . I didn't sleep well all night. There was always noise. It seemed that the toilet upstairs didn't flush in the middle of the night. I kept scratching and scratching until there was no sound before I fell asleep. 😅 I took a taxi to Dandong Ship. One of the drivers was very good, and the other took a detour when he came back. He earned a few more dollars and discredited his own city. Overall, I don't want to be ripped off again. Maybe it's because of the things near the station. The supermarkets are about the same price as in Dalian. The prices are not as comfortable as in Dalian. However, the attractions are all good. There are people to arrange evacuation in line. It's just that the accommodation and food are too ripped off.
