"A wonderful hotel in a quiet location among rice fields. Peacocks and the sounds of the jungle. If you love nature and solitude, this is perfect! Just remember that there's no "civilization" right next door. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. The reception is very warm. The breakfast and dinner were delicious! Thanks to all the hotel staff. Most importantly for those traveling by car, the road Google defaults to on the lake side is bad, full of potholes; we barely made it. The road on the other side, while rough, is much better. I've attached a map in the photo."

"If I'd looked at the map and gone, I'd have had a hard time finding it. Even if it's close, I think taking a tuk-tuk is a good option. For the Sigiriya sunrise, it's relatively close to the city center, but not too far away, so it's in a great location. Lucky at the reception is friendly, humorous, and helpful. However, the tuk-tuk driver who called me didn't speak any English, which was a bit surprising. The room was minimalistic, and the green balcony view was soothing. The air conditioning made it cold, so I asked for hot water, and they brought me a liter of it in a bottle. I made some barley tea and drank it, which helped me kick my cold."

"A month at this hotel was a true fairy tale for us! We felt right at home thanks to the incredibly friendly and kind family who took care of us from the very first moment. They were also ready to help with literally everything! When we mentioned that we wanted to cook for ourselves and were looking for accommodation with a kitchen, they simply... built us a kitchen! It was incredible! We couldn't imagine that people could be so responsive. We were often treated to incredibly delicious, generous meals. Breakfasts are a special treat here: always plenty of food, fresh ingredients, and everything is incredibly delicious. You can also rent their bicycles to explore the amazing Sigiriya. It was amazing! Riding along picturesque trails amidst the wild nature was a dream! Even within the hotel grounds, you can feel a connection with nature: colorful birds sing their melodies, squirrels dart through the palm trees, and monitor lizards leisurely wander through the bushes – true harmony with nature. We left with a heavy heart, as this place became our home for a whole month. We recommend it to anyone seeking warm hospitality, comfort, and a connection with nature. Don't hesitate – this hotel is definitely worth your consideration!"

"We got very nice experience when staying here 1 night. The room was perfect for our family of 3. We just had to pay for the 3rd person's breakfast. The Logde located nearby the Lion rock and village, easy to find and go to the rock or the Gambulla city within 10min. The host Isuru was very welcoming from the start and made sure that we had all that we needed. ( hot water, drinking water, towels, AC, fan). We also really appreciated Mr Alain, a french gentleman resident in the sameplace! The room also had all the necessary for us to not be bitten by insects (scents and more). There was also a room for the driver at a very resonnable price. However we found the wifi a little weak, but else everything was good. In the surroundings it is peaceful, and we woke up to nice little sound of the nature and a well prepared typical srilankan breakfast and fruits! Delicious!"

But most of all we had an excellent stay with our hosts, Ajith, Sanjeewani & Tharini. They arrange everything you need. Even a dentist. And they are so nice! Ajith showed us around in the area and guided us during our climb on Pidurangala Rock. We certainly would like to return here!"

"I used it when I traveled with 3 friends! It's a place where you can heal with plenty of nature, but the location was good because you can go to the rice shop as soon as you take a taxi. I wore it without hesitation because there was a sign nearby. The most impressive thing was the kindness of the owner! I arrived late at night, but he welcomed me very warmly without a disgusting face. The tea that was served for free on my way home was really delicious. The room was great, and even if we stayed for 3 people, there was a fluffy bed for each person! It was cool at night and I could sleep well, and the water area I was worried about was usually clean and there was no problem at all. Anyway, the owner's personality was nice and it was an inn that I would definitely want to stay again!"
