"An exceptional stay at the Milano Grand – a true 5-star experience for quality and hospitality We stayed two nights at the Milano Grand, and the experience was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing drink, which was truly welcome after a long journey. The staff is impeccable, incredibly kind and helpful. A huge thank you to the manager, Lucky, whose kindness and professionalism transformed our stay. Our heavy luggage was carried to our room, and we received excellent recommendations for sightseeing and dining. They even reserved and arranged a scooter for us for our explorations the following day. Breakfast was fit for a king: fresh fruit, fresh smoothies, variety, and generous portions. The rooms were large, very clean, and truly comfortable. The location is perfect: right next to the bus station. And best of all, at check-out, Lucky personally escorted us to the station to show us exactly which bus to take. A rare, thoughtful, and deeply appreciated gesture. For the price, the quality, the welcome, and the kindness of the staff, this hotel easily deserves 5 stars. I highly recommend the Milano Grand. An exceptional address in Dambulla 🙏✨"

"A very special and very comfortable one night stay! ! ! The room was kept spotless and the facilities were placed just right. When he learned that I was going out to find a restaurant for dinner, Isuru was worried about my safety at night and offered to pick me up by car. Half an hour before the meal ended, he was waiting at the restaurant. (The mom’s kitchen he recommended is the best local restaurant I have eaten in during my more than ten days in Lanka!! The price is also very affordable) Isulu is really serious about running this hotel, and there are gentleman guests. Mr. Aland is helping him."

"Have to put a scanning system to the guest security,Zero at present,They don’t answer when asked,Hotel or the company AitkinSpence is only after your money,This is from my personal experience,After staying there during the Arugambai terrorist threat and the US,UK and few other countries issued a warning to their citizens,We are from the UK,We were concerned about it they just ignored us,Anyone could have carried explosive inside,Because none of my luggage was scanned.I have asked the hotel and the company for an explanation still no answer, my stay was on 23rd to 25th of oct 2024,,I would tell anyone wants to stay here to check this first.I am attaching few pictures of concern,I did warn them that If there is no response from them my review will be the truth,Still they are not bothered,I have more to write but I will stop here."

"The location of the hotel is relatively remote, but it feels like a manor inside. The guest room is similar to a single-story villa with a large bed and a small bed, and can accommodate three adults. The room hygiene is good, but the floor drain next to the toilet tends to accumulate water. The mattress of the large bed is moderately soft and hard, and the floor-to-ceiling doors and windows face the garden, giving you a first-class view. Although no monkeys were seen knocking on the door, various warblers and birds were constantly chirping, and the ecological and natural environment was well protected. The breakfast was rich in variety, not just curry food, but also a lot of bacon and oatmeal, as well as watermelon, papaya and other tropical items. fruit. A satisfactory stay"

"We stayed here for 3 nights and what a lovely place to stay! The staff are very accommodating and will make sure you have everything you need to have the experience in Sigiriya! They offer trips and tours from the hotel which we didn’t know so booked separately but they came to the rescue when our second day tour was cancelled! The owner quickly got a service running to show us the ancient city of Polunuwara! The breakfast is lovely! We got a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast on our second day which was lovely and eggs, toast fruit etc the other days which was perfect for us! We did loose electricity one but this was due to the scared day and needing power elsewhere for celebrations! This was no problem as the owners made sure to have everything up and running for us by the time we returned from our first day trip! It is only a short walk to restaurants and the lake so is in the best spot! Would 100% recommend here to stay in sigiri!"

It was incredible! We couldn't imagine that people could be so responsive. We were often treated to incredibly delicious, generous meals. Breakfasts are a special treat here: always plenty of food, fresh ingredients, and everything is incredibly delicious. You can also rent their bicycles to explore the amazing Sigiriya. It was amazing! Riding along picturesque trails amidst the wild nature was a dream! Even within the hotel grounds, you can feel a connection with nature: colorful birds sing their melodies, squirrels dart through the palm trees, and monitor lizards leisurely wander through the bushes – true harmony with nature. We left with a heavy heart, as this place became our home for a whole month. We recommend it to anyone seeking warm hospitality, comfort, and a connection with nature. Don't hesitate – this hotel is definitely worth your consideration!"
