Cidade de Daman Beach Resort

Overall experience was very good. We stayed in suit room with beach view. Room size is comfortable and stay is pleasant. The staff is cooperative and food quality is good. In breakfast, fresh juice was provided which is rarely found nowadays.

Hosted our Wedding at Cidade De Daman and it was really amazing. The staff and manager (Kevin) were super helpful, and always available. The hospitality and food was above our expectations. Our guests really enjoyed the the stay and experience of the beautiful sea facing view.

Daman the beautiful city and an awesome place to visit. It was my 1st ever trip to this amazing place and we decided to book the most premium properties here landing up at Cedade De Daman! We had a 2 days stay here with the best room of the hotel booked in and being assured of amazing quality and services. To my surprise...starting with Vallet..if u plan to visit Daman on Saturday and specially to Cedade-de-Daman, do not expect hospitality..they may even deny to carry ur luggage to your room from the car. The reception desk is filled with good happy faces, but I wished it was all same throughout. The room was promised with awesome view but we landed up seeing only the stinking bamboos of the restaurant roof and dirty underconstruction site. No scope of sitting with open windows as the stink and mosquitoes would otherwise make ur stay more unpleasant. The basic utilities in the room being coffee maker, tea coffee sugar saches, soap in bathroom, towels, glass for water, water bottle were MISSING...And to top it up..we had to fight to get things in pace.. While going out we planned to keep our precious things in Locker..but the awesome thing we found when we returned to the room to find locker door open..and we were shocked.. Called the reception and were informed that the locker batter was dead and it was required to be changed..thankfully nothing was stolen! The swimming pool water is green, stinking and dirty..dint ever see such dirty swimming pool in entire life..if you are expecting anything from the pool helper, do not do that! Towel is something you might never get or may have to wait for about an hour for that.. Most boring DJ on Saturday night if u ever want to experience, this is the hotel to visit! Now last but not the least..the breakfast... Stuffed paratha with no stuffing but a cold and the hotel staff would not hesitate to deny for fresh cooked paratha, stating, this is buffet, it's ment to be like this only..do not expect personalized service.. The dosa guy is good at his work until u make some specific request and he says..this is how its made so plz keep ur request to urself. And dare to ask for cold coffee...they would pit coffee powder in cold milk with sugar and serve to u..and plz remember its chargeable Rs. 120/- ..with the beauty that u won't be able to drink it! Wifi shows a speed test of 80mbps..however, actual use doesn't prove this. The wifi won't support any usage. Only good thing about this place is Good interiors! It’s been many years since me and my family is visiting CidadeDeDaman, I would say that place is my second home. The staff is amazing, very polite and cooperative. The cosy atmosphere of the place and the hospitality is all that we need. The warm welcome than the pool view and the food makes my weekend perfect! Thank you for making my New Year true fun!

We had been to this place for my wife's pre-bday celebration and trust me Mr. Kevin helped us with the best of the best possible hospitality. The view from our room, direct access to the sea was absolutely mesmerizing. We were not expecting this surprise from the GM who delivered a delicious chocolate cake at the room. They were also kind enough to accomodate our request for late check-out. In nutshell, it's a 4/5 for beautiful property, great hospitality and fantastic view from the room facing Devka beach. Our experience to this amazing property goes like: 1. Location/Property: 4/5 (it's beautiful place for a staycation) with direct access to Devka beach. 2. Hospitality: 5/5 3. Food: 3.5 / 5 (Limited Vegetarian options with rates being a bit on higher side comparatively). But, must say they have good filling options for the Breakfast. 4. Rooms: 4/5 (Neat & clean, however the toiletries could have been a little better) Thank you sooo very much Mr. Kevin and Rita for making our stay so pleasant and worth cherishing.
