Although entrance is on rhe canal street and the Google map is miscalculated, it was Wirth the effort. Very stylish remodeled interior corridors , traditional ambience and amenities. Great view over the canal or X9nghai Park- it is your choice. Near windows is a little cool, and the study chair provided could be higher, but otherwise great! A superb personalized zao fan, not a generic buffet. If price is on special with trip, I'd stay again.

Great location, near every important point in the city. Quick and convenient service 24/7. The rooms are clean and odorless with quiet neighbors. Wonderful city and great weather for the national day!

I loved staying in this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and neat and the beds really comfortable. A plus is that it's located near my favorite places...Xinghai Square and the Castle Hotel. I will stay in this hotel again when visiting Dalian.

This hotel has 4 stars on trip.com. I would give it a 2.5 (maybe a 3). I booked the 'no window' room on the same floor as the front desk and restaurant (5th floor). I got the worst headache when I was in the room from either the cigarette smoke (from the smokers in the restaurant) and/or the foul smell from the bathroom/sink. The room and bathroom seemed clean, but there was a thick smell from the pipes. Because there was no window, I could not ventilate the room. I was given a fan, so I kept that on as an air circulator. OF course, it did little to help with my headache. The headache subsided whenever I left the hotel, so I strongly do not recommend the 'no window' room. The hotel is a 30-minute taxi ride from the airport (30 yuan), for that reason I would recommend the hotel if you are you are only there for a short time and on a tight budget to save on accommodation and transportation. The staff is courteous; however, I had to go through hoops to get them to call a taxi for pick up at 5:30 am. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the main road where taxis frequent. I would also recommend a shower filter as I spotted 'something' floating in the water. To leave my review on a positive note, the bed was massive and comfortable. The sheets were nicely pressed just like the ones you will find in a western style hotel. Pillows were comfy too.

The hotel is well located. the rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The shower is nice, a lot of water comes out and the water doesn't pool on the floor. The breakfast is very tasty and is served directly at the table.

The hotel staff were so kind and friendly. They did not speak English but we're able to communicate using a translation APP. The brought extra water bottles to my room and asked about the room temperature. I ended up staying at my girlfriend's apartment instead of the hotel after the first night and they allowed me to cancel even though they didn't have to. I had ordered a jacket to be delivered to my room, which ended up arriving after I checked out. The hotel kept it for me and let me pick it up from there once delivered. The view from my room was awesome. The only negative was the walls were a little thin and I could hear the neighbors. I'd definitely stay here again.
