Foto Sangat Island Dive Resort

I can't say enough good things about this place!! My husband and I stayed here for five days on our honeymoon and we had an amazing time. The diving was incredible - we got our advance open water certification during our stay and our instructor, Poncho, was the best! The equipment is in great condition and they have everything you need for any level of diving. All of the dive sites are very close by, typically 5-10 minute boat ride away and both the reef and wreck dives were awesome experiences. They even have a house reef that you can snorkel or dive from the beach. The best part about this place is the staff. They all stay on the island so you'll see the same faces each days and it was so fun getting to know everyone! The food is amazing and the bartenders, John, Jelo and George, make great drinks and chatted with us every night during happy hour. We stayed in a beach bungalow with two beds and a large bathroom (ours had an AC unit in one of the bedrooms). We weren't sure what to expect with an eco-resort, but the accommodations were great and we didn't have any issues with bugs or anything else during our stay. Overall, we highly recommend staying here if you are looking for an amazing, personalized diving experience!
