Apartamentos la Palmera

Stayed for 2 nights in April 2022. When we arrived the reception was unmanned and only a maid on site. Fortunately I speak reasonable Spanish and managed to get access to our apartment. Throughout our stay there was never anyone on reception although the door was unlocked and the key in the lock! The man who appeared to be running the place appeared sullen and not communicative. The only thing he actually did was to get my wife a hair drier. The mini-bar in the room did not exist. We had to make the beds up ourselves. There was no bath mat in the bathroom. There was no hot water at the kitchen sink. Whilst we appreciate the fact that the property had an electric gate for security we were not given a fob to open it ourselves so were effectively hostages if we wanted to use our vehicle and couldn't find anyone to open it. On leaving the "manager" insisted I paid in full the 80 euros for the apartment in cash. It was my opinion that we had paid 40 euros in advance but as the wifi was mysteriously not working couldn't check my bank account. As he was not going to open the gate unless I paid him I gave him 80 euros in cash. He was very reluctant to give me a receipt. Eventually he did. I have since checked and it appears the 40 euros has not been taken from my bank account. Since leaving the apartment which was booked through *********** I have received an email saying we had been reported as a "now show", and asking if this was correct. We have confirmed to *********** that we did actually stay there for the 2 nights we had booked. Something does not seem correct here?

Lo único bueno es la ubicación, los apartamentos son viejos y mal mantenidos, no hay limpieza en las instalaciones, útiles de cocina como tenedores cuchillos inservibles, la amabilidad del anfitrión brilló por su ausencia, no admite pago con tarjeta solo efectivo y sin factura. No vale el precio tan elevado que piden por alojarse en este lugar

Gustó · La ubicación y la playa No gustó · 05/05/2023. Pagué un apartamento de dos habitaciones pero a mi llegada me dieron un apartamento de una habitación. Se lo comenté a la persona de recepción y me dijo que como solo eramos dos personas, habían decidido darme un apartamento pequeño (sin avisame con antelación). Como compensación solo me bajaron 20€. Tengo la sensación de que me timaron con el precio... Además aunque admiten perros (solo determinados meses del año y un perro por apartamento), no son dog friendly. La persona de recepción llegó a decirme que los perros son antihigiénicos. Hoy dia 06/05/2023, me ha llamado la persona de recepción para pedirme explicaciones sobre mis comentarios y, como no le gustaba, me ha colgado el teléfono sin que pudiera terminar de argumentar. Que pena que por el carácter de esa persona, me haya quedado un mal sabor de boca tras un viaje maravilloso.
