For children in the north, the terraced fields in the valley coupled with the comfortable hotel environment are so amazing and artistic. Lotus, a kitten with a glance of ten thousand years, is tired of the fast pace of Beijing. Here, he is instantly healed by the slow pace of life. The hotel owner is very funny. GGuest UserYunhuan Secret Realm is the best choice for visiting Jiabang Terraces. The two brothers in the B&B are very friendly. They communicated very well before booking and informed the room in advance. After arriving, they took the initiative to upgrade when there were other better rooms. The B&B is very warm, the room is very clean, the supplies are very good, the environment is quiet, and you can see the terraces in the room. It is definitely a view room.
After arriving, I contacted the brother to take the initiative to help carry the luggage. Although it takes a while to walk, the scenery is super good. Every time I go out, as long as the brother is free, he will take the initiative to send it out in an electric car, saving the walking distance in and out of the B&B. I stayed for two nights and ate in the B&B. Breakfast has porridge, fried dough sticks, and local rice noodles, milk coffee, eggs, and many kinds of side dishes. It's up to you to choose. Because you have to go out to buy vegetables, dinner needs to be booked in advance. The dinners for two days are very delicious. I recommend trying the unique rice coffee of the B&B. It has a very strong rice fragrance. The key is to drink it. 🤭 When I left, I also gave a souvenir, the unique rice of Jiabang Terraces.

However, for the sake of convenience, I stayed one night in the county first. The next day I took a taxi to Basha to watch the show. After it was over, I went to the village and went straight to this B&B. I didn’t actually book a room that day. I said hello at the door and asked if I could come in and have a look. The boss was very enthusiastic. He greeted us, made us tea, kept chatting, and decided to stay here that day, because we were free to do whatever we wanted during the entire trip. We didn't have to go to any scenic spots, and we could go wherever we wanted to go that day. But we got along very well with the boss, and even stayed there for three days. The boss took us around for a walk and it was a lot of fun. You really have to believe in fate. That night, by chance, two travelers came over who had not booked a room before. So we hit it off and the next day we went with the boss to visit three or four villages, and finally stayed at Jiabang Rice Terraces. One night. This is a meaningful and interesting trip, not a tourist. Emphasize that the boss has a particularly interesting soul, interesting, humorous, and artistic. I used to think that traveling meant traveling to more places. This trip made me think that the meaning of traveling actually lies in the scenery, interesting people and their stories you meet along the way. The scenery of the B&B is very beautiful. After going around the mountain for eighteen bends, we finally arrived. It was night when we arrived and we were unfamiliar with the place, so we were very nervous.
We were the only family staying there that day, and I guess most of the business was taken away by the homestays at the entrance of Jiabang Terraces.
The room we booked did not include breakfast. We arrived after 9pm and there was no dinner, so we had to try our luck at the shop next door. Fortunately, the kind lady boss shared food with us.
The facilities in the house are relatively simple. There is no toilet, but there is a squatting toilet in the shower area. Basic toiletries and slippers are provided. The bed is relatively hard and has an electric blanket. The nights at the end of March are still very cold.
In the morning, you will be woken up by the crowing of chickens outside the house, and experience the rural life. I discussed with the boss lady in the morning and got a bowl of noodles. The fried egg was especially delicious!
We started visiting the terraced fields in the morning. After going up the stairs opposite the hotel and turning right, there was an observation deck. We could visit several major terraced fields along the way, which was very convenient.

GGuest UserThe most satisfying B&B. I came to Jiabang Rice Terraces without any planning in advance and found that this place was very far away. I regretted it at the time. I rented a car and drove for two and a half hours from Congjiang High-speed Railway Station to the Jiabang Rice Terraces on the 18-turn mountain road. When I got off the car, I was charged 40 yuan for a sightseeing car in the scenic area plus 10 yuan for insurance. I felt very depressed. But after taking the sightseeing bus and arriving at the B&B, the whole thing was full of surprises, especially when I experienced the viewing room facing the terraced fields, the B&B’s beautiful small garden, the original restaurant, and the lively bonfire party. People are surprised! The weather was slightly cool in the evening, so we ate roasted sweet potatoes and roasted corn around the campfire with music, which left a very warm impression. If we only talk about the location, if we choose again, the locations of No. 5 and 6 Observation Deck will be better. But after considering the service, facilities, and atmosphere of the B&B, you should definitely choose this one.

The scenic area shuttle bus stopped running, but we put down our luggage and walked downhill all the way to the No. 3 viewing platform, and then returned. When we went back, the landlady's native chicken was already cooked, and the fried vegetables were also very tasty. Since we are here, we should make the best of it. As long as we are not working, we are happy anywhere. When we open the window, we are in nature, which is very healing. GGuest UserThe inn is on the roadside, very close to the No. 1 observation deck. It is convenient to watch the sunrise in the morning and very quiet to sleep at night. There are terraces below and to the right of the inn, which are very spectacular. The boss and his family are very welcoming. The room is clean and hygienic. The wooden house has a faint pine scent, which is very comfortable. The dishes cooked by the boss are delicious, the charges are reasonable, the personality is high, and people are thrifty. The inn has vegetables, melons and rice grown with mountain spring water. My picky eater can eat two bowls of rice in one meal. On the return trip, we bought dozens of kilograms of rice to take back to Guangdong to eat. All in all, the trip to Jiabang Rice Terraces was perfect. I would recommend it to friends for food and accommodation.
Note: The local chili peppers are spicy and delicious. Friends who don’t like spicy food or eat a little spicy food must make it clear in advance. If you don’t pay attention to it, you will eat more bowls of rice😀😀😀

The property is right by the train station, which is what I was looking for to be able to catch an early morning train.
In terms of location it really depends what you are looking for, surely there's not much to do around and it felt like being in a very remote authentic village, so it's a nice experience but if you have a car it's definitely a plus.
The owner doesn't speak English but he's been very nice and accommodating.
The room is simple with squat toilet but it has everything and it's absolutely clean and comfortable.
