The receptionist did her best to meet our needs and her attitude was consistently excellent. In terms of facilities, it's one of the top three hotels in the scenic area. Slight dissatisfactions: 1. The owner only assigned one young woman to handle everything. We had two large suitcases and two small suitcases, lots of luggage, and arrived at night. It was raining in the mountains, and after getting off the bus, we had to walk uphill, which was quite a hassle. We had informed the hotel beforehand, but the young woman arrived late. Seeing that she was a thin girl, we felt a little bad and scolded her. 2. There was no suitable path to drag luggage uphill from the hotel entrance, making it very difficult to carry. 3. "I didn't have high expectations; I just wanted to enjoy the scenery, sleep in, and eat some farm-style food. But this trip to Jiabang has deeply healed my soul. This guesthouse opened this year, and since I'm a bit of a clean freak, I prefer things that are a little new. Cleanliness is a basic requirement for a guesthouse, but can you imagine that the owners built it all by hand? The wood came from their own mountain, carried down by hand, and every plank was cut by themselves. They don't do marketing, so they rely on their dedication. The owners' simple kindness and genuine vitality deeply moved me. The fish are caught in their own fields; they're called rice paddy fish. They grow up in the rice paddies, drinking mountain spring water and eating millet—they're incredibly fragrant and tender. The rice is homegrown, and the chickens are free-range. If you come, you absolutely must try them; it's a delicacy you can't find in the city. Also, the rice wine from Guizhou is truly exceptional—absolutely amazing! On my first day, they gave me a complimentary glass of wine with my meal. It was incredibly delicious, leaving a lingering fragrance on my lips. The owner, speaking in simple Mandarin, explained that the wine was homemade, without a single drop of water added! Haha, it was so sweet and fragrant! They also have homemade baijiu (Chinese white liquor), you can try it too. However, please note that Guizhou rice wine has no alcohol content, but the wind in Guizhou is 52 degrees. Please drink accordingly! By the way, the curtains were excellent, very opaque, so I slept very comfortably. Traveling is all about experiencing natural scenery and local customs. This trip was truly enjoyable. Finally, thank you to the owner and his family for their care and kindness, allowing me to experience pure and simple joy in a foreign land. "The guesthouse is located within the scenic area, at a high elevation with excellent views. Since it's newly built and renovated, the room facilities are quite new. However, the dining options within the scenic area are limited, and there weren't many choices for dinner."

"Overall, it was alright. I discussed it with the owner and got an upgrade to an air-conditioned room, so I'm giving it four stars. But to be honest, the hygiene was poor. There was hair on the bed, something like spider webs on the ceiling, and bugs on the floor. Also, the showerhead had very little water flow. Overall, maybe this is what you get for the price? But hygiene should at least be guaranteed."
