Ulasan Galle Face Hotel

Extremely poor service. Manager Malik and staff Asun were inconsistent in feedback and discussion. hung up the call 3 times while asking for explanation and insisted on USD 100 for upgrade to fix the issue. Presented the worst room with LED lights shining into the room. Avoided the calls to explain or discuss. Choosing to ignore calls were next level immaturity displayed by staff. In a country where service is key this hotel was truly disappointing. One of the worst I've had across the world.

We had a pleasant stay in Galle Face Hotel. The room is beautiful and comfortable. Sufficient A/C and the room is clean. The front desk staff is very helpful and friendly during the check in process. The breakfast buffet is brilliant - wide range of selections and tasty. Overall it's a good value of money.

As a heritage hotel, it was cleaner and more modern inside than expected. The location was great, right next to the beach and also one Galle face mall.

Beautiful old hotel with great decor inside. Staff is very attentive and helpful. Close to Galle Face and right on the ocean! Dinner and breakfast buffet were amazing!

Very very efficient

We travelled with or 20 & 22 year old sons. Wonderful hotel. Kind, friendly, old-fashioned service. Felt like old world luxury and charm updated. Very comfortable. Super restaurants. Plenty of choice. Spacious rooms. Superb location. Will stay again.

This hotel had a great location right in front of the ocean. We booked half board and the buffet was very plentiful, both for dinner and breakfast. The building was prestigious and had a historical feel to it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was that the gym was too small for the size of the hotel (only 3 running machines).

The hotel is on a nice location and victorian style heritage hotel. But it is dated and needs a major renovation. Rooms and facilities are tired. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Lovely hotel. It’s an historic icon. The swimming pool is fantastic. But the infrastructure around the pool needs an update very very urgently!! Other than that it’s a lovely place with excellent staff.

Amazing historical colonial hotel. Staff are very attentive but do need to use initiative sometimes to solve guests needs & wants instead of following every rule set down no matter how small or irrelevant those rules are. I wld highly recommend this hotel as we had a great stay there 👍👍🎉🎉

Very old hotel. If you don't mind still using keys to open doors to hotel and generally feeling like you're back in the 90's, then this is great.
