I have booked king deluxe room they gave me regular room which does not have even shower panel and it’s worst of the service they have provided. It’s open cheating

We had a day to kill before our late night flight home, so booked a room and used the hotel facilities. The rooftop pool and jacuzzis are excellent. Decent range of food and drinks you can order up there. Also had a choice of many restaurants on site for our dinner. The room itself was lovely and met our needs in terms of having somewhere to freshen up before the airport. Note that the room has a window but it’s completely frosted, so you get natural light but no visibility. It didn’t bother us but might be an issue if you were staying longer. I don’t like that there’s a huge window between the bedroom and bathroom, esp when staying with a friend.

Booked it because it was the only hotel that had a bathtub in the area. It is not located on the beach, the beach is a free 10 min shuttle away. The pool is nice and big, the breakfast has a wide variety of food and is delicious, loved the tv speaker in the bathroom. Partial sea view is not very good. I feel like they put everyone on the same floor. Construction was happening outside but it couldn’t be heard in the room because of the sound proofing.

It was a great day. Staff were fantastic. The infinity pool was a great place to relax. A shuttle into town would be good. 

The hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean from the roof top pool as well as from many of the rooms. The staff were very welcoming, even though we arrived before 2pm they made an effort to get our room ready quickly and let us check in early, which was very nice after an over night flight. Its easy to walk from the hotel to a number of restaurants, casinos, as well as to some of the popular attractions in the city. The restaurant in the hotel has a nice buffet, as well as a rooftop bar. The hotel was so nice that when we passed through Colombo when we were leaving Sri Lanka, we stayed there again.

Nice hotel for a stay in Colombo. The steam room, pool and jacuzzis on the top floor are a great place to unwind.

We like the hotel. It was good. The toilet was big and clean. But the bathing area should have a divder to stop the water overflowing... Otherwise there is nothing to complain.

Everything was great, but whenever we request anything at the breakfast venue, the staffs they act as they didn’t know and pretended to be innocent.”

The hotel is very clean and the rooms are also very clean. The buffet breakfast is good and can eat watching the sea.

I recently stayed at Marino Beach Colombo Hotel and had a delightful experience. I love the balcony. The room is fairly large. Ordered room service most days for breakfast. Portions are huge. Speak slowly though when ordering because they got my order wrong a couple of times and missed sending cutlery and sauces as well. Checking took a bit of time despite no queue. Reception seems busy with small chatters with group ofn4 or 5 every time I see or when I was down at the lobby. WiFi was excellent. Location wise, nothing much around the area. No shops or places to get groceries. So plan before you get back to the hotel. There is a small cafe on the left has fabulous tea though (Indian style). Pool is wonderful and generally the roof top is a fun place to chill.

It was a good experience. Food is good. However when we arrive no one’s escorting the room and the room card is not working. Again we went to the reception for new card. Pool was great. Overall it was a great experience.
