Ulasan Marino Beach Colombo

Located at the most central avenue of Colombo has very nice view to the Indian Ocean, particularly from the rooftop garden and swimming pool, which probably is the largest in Asia. I was in this garden in 2018 and now is like a roof forest. The gym is well equipped and with panoramic view. The hotel is at the top of the mall, the dream of my wife. Every hour there was a shuttle to a tropical beach just outside Colombo. We did also the complementary half day tour to the city that was well organized. Excellent service and comfort.

I have booked king deluxe room they gave me regular room which does not have even shower panel and it’s worst of the service they have provided. It’s open cheating

We had a day to kill before our late night flight home, so booked a room and used the hotel facilities. The rooftop pool and jacuzzis are excellent. Decent range of food and drinks you can order up there. Also had a choice of many restaurants on site for our dinner. The room itself was lovely and met our needs in terms of having somewhere to freshen up before the airport. Note that the room has a window but it’s completely frosted, so you get natural light but no visibility. It didn’t bother us but might be an issue if you were staying longer. I don’t like that there’s a huge window between the bedroom and bathroom, esp when staying with a friend.

Booked it because it was the only hotel that had a bathtub in the area. It is not located on the beach, the beach is a free 10 min shuttle away. The pool is nice and big, the breakfast has a wide variety of food and is delicious, loved the tv speaker in the bathroom. Partial sea view is not very good. I feel like they put everyone on the same floor. Construction was happening outside but it couldn’t be heard in the room because of the sound proofing.

It was a great day. Staff were fantastic. The infinity pool was a great place to relax. A shuttle into town would be good. 

The hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean from the roof top pool as well as from many of the rooms. The staff were very welcoming, even though we arrived before 2pm they made an effort to get our room ready quickly and let us check in early, which was very nice after an over night flight. Its easy to walk from the hotel to a number of restaurants, casinos, as well as to some of the popular attractions in the city. The restaurant in the hotel has a nice buffet, as well as a rooftop bar. The hotel was so nice that when we passed through Colombo when we were leaving Sri Lanka, we stayed there again.

Excellent, friendly service throughout. Restaurant staff could not do enough for us being very attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble throughout.

Good hotel. Great location. We stayed in triple room (a twin plus a rollaway bed) and there was adequate space. Room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent with everything you could want including a hopper station and plenty of cooked food options. Recommended.

Super nice view over the Roof Garden swimming pool, service excellent. 3/F buffet breakfast covered continental food and also the Sri Laker variety. Request for the extension of stay & reception offer until 3:00pm. It was so good experience over this hotel. The Ground floor bar can listen the real pianist playing the piano which really relaxing. On top of it, really appreciated the room cleaning boy very good manner & attitude as I asked him to give one extra bag of peanut. In short, this hotel I rate 45/50 points that will recommend to friend.

Nice hotel for a stay in Colombo. The steam room, pool and jacuzzis on the top floor are a great place to unwind.

We like the hotel. It was good. The toilet was big and clean. But the bathing area should have a divder to stop the water overflowing... Otherwise there is nothing to complain.

Everything was great, but whenever we request anything at the breakfast venue, the staffs they act as they didn’t know and pretended to be innocent.”
