Very good location setting in front of Cologne Cathedral. ❤️ And beside Cologne Centraal Station.
I can walk around the city day and night.
Nice room and clean, good view to the Cologne Cathedral.
Day and night i'm happy to stay here.
Breakfast should to adjust cause expensive 17Euro but poor food.
You can walk to have breakfast at a delicious breakfast nearly hotel.
However i think Everything be good in this hotel.

Excellent location as it is located within cologne’s main train station
The ibis is perfectly located for a short visit to Cologne - we spent a night there. We arrived by car (dropping of our retnal at Sixt, near the Hilton) and walked five minutes to the hotel. We left by train to Berlin next morning and the hotel is literally adjoining the station, with a secure passageway connecting the two ! Even our dinner restaurant, dean & david (we're vegetarians) was next door. I could not have asked for a more convenient location! And yes, it right across from the Cologne Cathedral, but rooms are still insulated from street noise. Check in was quick, friendly and efficient. Very competitively priced, especially with the advance Accor member rate.

My second stay at this Hotel ( I first stayed here in 2023). It is located right next to the Main Railway Station ( but no noise from the Station in my room ) and opposite Cologne Cathedral. The Staff were all very nice and helpful. My room was cleaned every day. Hotel was exceptionally clean. Some days I ate the Breakfast Buffet which was very nice. I had a good Stay here. Air Con/Heating in room. Bed comfortable. For snacks there are plenty of places in the Railway Station, which has plenty of Cafes, a Supermarket and other Shops.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the city for Euro 2024. What an amazing location - right next to the main station and Cathedral. We were lucky enough to have a room looking out onto the Cathedral. The rooms are relatively compact and the bathroom is quite small but fine for a short stay. The beds are probably the worst bit - the mattresses are thin and not the most comfy. It's quite a busy area too so noise can creep in if you're on the Cathedral side. However, comfortable enough and within walking distance of all the main attractions. Plenty of shops and cafes close by too.

Small room, no beverages in the room. The bar in the hotel is vending machines. However, the hotel is clean, the staff are pleasant and it is ideal if travelling by train. I feel at 99 euros per night it is overpriced. We slept well but the cleaner opened the door just before 9am. I hadn't noticed the do not disturb tag.

It's recommended to know your expectations and prioritize your needs when choosing this hotel. In short, if you prefer convenient location and budget over comfortable, good choice with this hotel. Pros: Great location attached to the Cologne main station. Friendly staff. Budget hotel. Plenty of shelving. Clean linens and towels. Cons: Very small room, need to be creative with more than 1 big suitcase. Not-so-clean carpet, which I won't go barefoot on. Unstable room temperature control.

Despite the price, this was a great place to stay for a couple of nights right in the heart of Cologne. (In fact, part of the central station.) The location is next to the cathedral so great views from the front of the hotel. There was some noise on our first night as it was Halloween but the second was okay. Breakfast is fine with a good selection of food, including a Waffle Bar where you can make your own waffles! Gluten free bread was readily available (they keep it in the freezer ready to toast). Rooms are clean and big enough for a few nights.

Situated right next to Cologne Main Railway Station and across from Cologne Cathedral. Great central location. I had room on fourth floor, no external noise. Room cleaned every day. Air Con in room. Friendly helpful Staff. Breakfast (15 Euros) was very nice with a wide variety of food. For snacks there are plenty of places in the Railway station, which also has a small Supermarket. I will definitely choose this Hotel for my next visit to Cologne.

A HORRIBLE CHECK-IN EXPERIENCE - Good points: The room was clean, the hotel's convenient location near the Cologne train station saved time and effort in transportation, and despite being centrally located, it provided a quiet atmosphere - Situation: I had made a reservation and paid in advance for a three-night stay at this hotel. I also completed an online check-in for my expected arrival date. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I couldn't make it on the first night. I arrived at around 8:30 PM on the second day. - Bad check-in experience: When I informed the receptionist, named Wasim, that my booking was supposed to start the previous day, his response was shockingly RUDE. Rather than empathetically resolving the issue, he immediately responded in a high tone and questioned why I hadn't emailed the hotel beforehand, without bothering to check the system. I had experienced a train delay and an exhausting day, and I just wanted a quick check-in. However, Wasim simply focused on my failure to email the hotel and adhere to the hotel's rules. It was completely unacceptable. While I wasn't expecting luxurious service, I surely didn't anticipate being made to feel like I needed to report my absence to the boss. - Poor training and affiliation with a third-party company: When I asked for Wasim's name, he outright refused to give it to me and told me "YOU CAN ASK MY MANAGER TOMORROW". Adding to my frustration, his reason is that he is not directly employed by Accor but was associated with a third-party company. His unwillingness to give his name initially was extremely disappointing. It was only after some requests that he reluctantly disclosed his name. It's truly disheartening to receive such service from a hotel that belongs to an international hospitality company like Accor.
