Residence Inn Albany Clifton Park

如果你對於聲音比較敏感，那麼極為不推薦該酒店，因為它緊鄰一條非常繁忙的高速路，絕大多數房間都受到巨大影響，避無可避。如果不介意噪音問題的話，那麼酒店很優秀，新而且衞生良好，早餐很出色，居然出現了米飯和炒菜，這在美國的酒店中極為罕見，當然還有各式各樣豐富的酸奶、牛奶、咖啡、水果、華夫餅，蛋糕，曲奇，瓶裝水等，非常令人驚喜。

As a family of four on a week long road trip this was our favorite hotel stop! Exceptionally clean, staff were so friendly, pool area was great! Room was spacious and had everything we needed! Shower was hot with great pressure, breakfast was wonderful and staff kept everything very clean. Basketball court was a bonus for sure! Also there is a convenience store across the parking lot with fantastic pizzas, ice cream and pretty much anything you might need. The staff there is incredibly friendly as well!

This is my first review but I felt it necessary to do so! I have to stay all over upstate NY for work, and there aren’t many great hotels that I’ve come across. However, this hotel was amazing! It was so clean and spacious. I am a bit crazy about cleanliness of hotels because of how many bad experiences I’ve had, and I’m telling you this was CLEAN. They even provided sanitary wipes to wipe down the remotes and countertops. The bed was also super comfortable which was a nice change from what I’m used to! I will definitely be staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The breakfast staff was great, food good, and the hotel was clean. A nice location as well. We enjoyed our time here and look forward to visiting again when we return to the area.

Spending 200+ nights a year in a hotel the little details always catch my eye. This hotel was immaculate and the little details that the staff did made my stay more enjoyable. You can tell that the staff takes pride at this property even folding towels, and cool little fancy ways show that these people, do it right

What you would expect from a Residence Inn. Clean, functional rooms. Friendly and helpful staff (especially at breakfast). Better than average breakfast with lots of options, plentiful seating. The major issue is noise - either from barking dogs in the many rooms that seem to have pets, or from the Northway, which is a mere stone's throw from the back of the building. The road noise was magnified in the rain. My advice - make sure your rooms are in the front of the building and no where near any pets. The signage on Route 9 is inadequate - especially at night. Easy to miss.

Our request for early check in was accommodated on arrival around 1:00 PM by Hana who was also very pleasant, cheerful and helpful throughout our stay The Pre-room Check by head of household is either non-existent or lacking in due diligence as the first time we used the toilet it did not flush & we noted the sink did not drain. On arrival back later in the afternoon, Hana assured us all was fixed. Unfortunately for the balance of our two-night stay, the toilet often required multiple flushes to dispose of the waste and the sink took some 90 minutes to drain out after use. Then there was the lack of working lights – we noted the light next to the desk had a broken light bulb which had obviously been broken for weeks (See Photo’s) Dish plates and mugs were left in the cupboard dirty and required washing before use! Cupboards were very sparse with only two drinking glasses and two wine glasses Add in the fact that the washroom mirror has lost backing all around the edges and the desk edging has separated leaves a totality of maintenance issues that are unacceptable for guest to have to endure in a Marriott property The bed was most certainly not the “Heavenly Bed Standard Marriott Bonvoy mattress” promoted my Marriott, but some cheap, substandard knock off! We endured two sleepless nights and the accompanying sore back and body aches that result from sleeping on a rock-hard mattress that resembles a concrete floor that has absolutely no give & zero comfort! While Marriot corporate officers & vice presidents are preaching that all Marriott properties are “fully open”, this property is the exception. This property has still not resumed the evening Social Hour…… Breakfast is a grab and go and there is still no sign of the pre COVID buffet multi option breakfast fare one expects from a Residence Inn One positive is the property does have a nice outdoor patio and fireplace and is well situated to shopping and restaurants However, there are also many other hotel options in the vicinity which we will most certainly choose from on our next visit to the area

We just spent one night at this Residence Inn while passing through the area on our way back from Vermont. Our stay was great from start to end. Overall, this by far was one of the cleanest Residence Inns we have ever stayed at. There were no funky smells or odors in any part of this property including the room. When we checked in, the woman at the front desk was super super friendly. She handed us the keys to our king studio up on the 4th floor. (Room 407) The room overall was extremely spacious and clean. The bed was also comfortable. I got a good night’s sleep. We would definitely stay here again. This hotel is equally as nice as the Courtyard down the street, however what made this property stand out even more was the fact that all the rooms here have full kitchens.

I have stayed in this hotel 4 nights for business and I can only recommend. The room is really well organized: a large desk, large bed, many plugs well located, nice lamps, kitchen is super clean and well furnished (fridge is bigger than the one i have at home), including coffee maker, and dishwasher. The room is cosy and the bed comfortable, I particularly liked the "dressing" area with many spaces to tidy clothes. Gym is of decent size, quite well equipped and opened 24h. Swimming pool and whirlpool bath are super nice, nice temperature. Breakfast is good, I would just add some more fresh fruits (at the moment only apples and couple of bananas) and remove all of this plastic!! Everything is wrapped in plastic and non reusable cups and plates... Service is great, everyone was super kind. Also downside is the duration to get dry cleaning / laundry: the laundry sheet says same day delivery back, but it takes approximately 2 days (but worst case there are washing machines).
