The room was super clean and the boss was very friendly. He introduced us to the surrounding tourist guide. It is very close to the city center. If you are worried about parking, you can basically walk to where you want to go.

The room is very large, spacious, clean, well-equipped, with a microwave, the owner is very enthusiastic, the service is good, and the attitude is good. Free parking, many attractions around.

This is the last stop of my trip to the South Island of New Zealand and I am back in Christchurch for the last night. I chose this Salerno Motel because I had to fly back to Auckland in the morning and return the rental car. When I checked in, I saw that the front desk was in China. The people are very friendly and the room is well-equipped. Although the furniture is old, it is still clean and comfortable. The best thing is that there is a spa bath in the bathroom. It is really a treat to take a bath in the spa at the end of a trip that lasts more than ten days. Happy! There are also many delicious food nearby. It only takes ten minutes to walk, which is quite convenient. This time I found a Thai and Southeast Asian restaurant, which is very delicious and worth recommending!

The facilities are complete, comfortable to use, the environment is clean, and the service is thoughtful. There are several restaurants around, and it only takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city center. There is Chinese service at the front desk and parking is convenient. Like the jacuzzi

Friendly, clean and central location

The room is large and bright, the bathroom is also very clean and has a stress-relieving jacuzzi. The service attitude is also very kind and friendly. The location is within walking distance of the main attractions. Overall, it is recommended.

The hotel is ok, close to the center of Christchurch, breakfast is a simple breakfast, bake the bread yourself, then milk, cereal, put it in the refrigerator when you check in, and do it yourself the next day.

Lovely facility, spacious, clean and warm. Big comfortable bed and a great spa bath shower. Our room was quiet. Great for a light sleeper. Manager-lady was helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again

Wow just mind blowin how great this place is. So accommodating for all the staff are lovely, room is modern except the couch definitely needs a upgrade but that's all I can fult the bathroom floor is super slippery when wet but this is a issue even in my own home. The bath is great it's huge seams bigger than other hotels and Deep which is amazing. The building next door has really bright lights that shine through the bedroom. I'll definitely be back I didn't want to leave wish this was my house because it's great. I love how there is a separate lounge to the room and this is the first time my baby has atcually stayed asleep. Well done team you have done well and I'd say this has to be the most affordable comfortable modern accommodation in chch thanks for our stay. Can't believe there are 2 tvs as well

With a great welcome and chocolate, we were shown to our suite. The room was large with good kitchen facilities, generous toiletries and very generous towelling! You also have the choice to have your suite serviced or not, by use if a notice in the window so you are not disturbed. Bed comfortable, great shower and spa. Very clean throughout. The lady at the front desk was also extremely helpful. She offered not only washing powder but softener and laundry sanitizer too! Great to get sorted out before we completed our travels. Well situated for the town and tourist experiences and info. We will be back!

We have been to Christchurch five times in as many months due to a family member terminally ill, and wished we'd found this motel at the beginning of our stays in Christchurch. We stayed here last week for four nights, and this weekend for three nights. The unit we had both times was unit 8, due to me requesting it on our second stay here. When we checked in the second time, the lady at reception, handed me our room key straight away, she didn't need to ask me my name. That is good PR. The room was very clean and the lady at reception was very friendly and obliging. The unit was quite large. In the lounge/bedroom there was a wardrobe, two seater couch, an armchair and table and two chairs. The bed was a king and that was really comfortable. The bathroom was also a good size. Only faults, one of which is quite common in motels, the only mirror is in the bathroom, if there was one on the wardrobe door or a wall I could have put my makeup on in lounge leaving husband to use the bathroom sooner. The carparks could be numbered so you could park outside your unit, which helps when you have knee trouble. The basin in the bathroom slopes away from the plug hole, so there is always water in the sink which really annoyed me. The iron and ironing board, were a bit rickety, just cheapies. They worked OK, but the ironing board was very wobbly. As I said I would stay here again, if we were in Christchurch. Thanks Salerno management and staff for a job very well done.
