Ulasan Northwood Motor Lodge

Strongly recommend to stay with Peter and Tessa, we feel be heartily welcomed because they are so hospitable.  The location of motel is not only convenient but the place is clean.  It’s definitely on my pocket list to visit again.

The landlord Peter is very nice. Very friendly and enthusiastic, answering all questions, and upgrading our room for free. It is spacious and clean, with relatively complete facilities, and can cook. The small garden is very beautiful. I like this motel very much.

The boss is very enthusiastic and makes you feel at home. Although the room is not big, the yard is also very clean and beautiful. I like you.

We missed our connecting flight from an international to a domestic flight and had to change to the next flight, which changed our pick-up time at the airport, so even though it was late, Peter was happy to come and pick us up! When we told him that we wanted to buy some food and drinks at a takeaway or supermarket, he found a shop that was open and took us there. The room was clean, and the view of the garden from the room was great. The garden was well-maintained, and the flowers in the flower beds were beautiful! The next day, Tessa even took us to the rental car shop. What a really, really nice owner. He was really kind to us, even though we don't have good English skills. It felt like we were a host family. We will definitely use him again when we go to Christchurch!!

It’s clean, and the owner of Gui Lao is very enthusiastic. I asked him what restaurants were nearby and introduced an authentic Gui Lao restaurant on the left. It was beautiful and had a resident singer who sang. It was like no one else there.

Peter brought a signboard with his name on it to the airport to make it easy to find, and he helped me open my lost luggage key. His wife also drove us to the rental car company the next day. It was the first day of my trip to New Zealand, so I was nervous, but I was really grateful for the warm hospitality!
