The room is small, but it’s good for one person. You can travel around nearby and accessible to attractions location and parks.

A beautiful historic hotel in the heart of historic Christchurch. The hotel was exceptional; beautiful room and grounds, comfortable room, great breakfast and wonderful staff. If I come to Christchurch again this would be my first choice to stay.

It's a real love place to stay! The location was perfect for everything. The host was very friendly and let us feel being at home.

Nicely located hotel, close to everything in CBD. It's in an old building, the rooms are on the small side, but clean and comfortable . Tea & coffee can be made in the kitchen area and taken to your room. A good continental breakfast was served in the morning. Car parking was good.

My husband and I were together for the winter holiday. We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We can’t say enough the host or hospitable the premises were nicely appointed. It was located close to a beautiful botanical gardens as well as a beautiful college campus as well as stores and restaurants. We would highly recommend anyone who would stay in the area to stay at this place. Be aware that it is not a hot breakfast.

It was so beautiful and I felt like I was in a fairy tale world. They were considerate of me and said kind words to me! The breakfast was also delicious! I'd love to come back when I visit Christchurch!

A very average hotel, similar to a B&B. There is nothing for breakfast. There is not even a hair dryer. It doesn’t work.

I was originally very happy to check in, but a young couple at the front desk felt that they could not receive us because we had children with us. I was grateful to them for their legal actions, and I was really speechless. The male front desk man later said that he could get a separate room for his children before they could check in, and the room price was very expensive. Does this mean you don’t accept children? We had no choice but to temporarily book another hotel and are still communicating with the agent about the refund. After so many years abroad, this is the first time I encountered discrimination against someone raising children.

This is because we have no small beds, cots etc. Of course we love children, but they are not allowed to stay in this hotel if under the age of 12. Steve.
