Ulasan Peppers Christchurch Clearwater Resort

Jaraknya sekitar 20 menit berkendara dari pusat kota Christchurch, namun hanya 8-10 menit berkendara dari bandara. Lingkungannya asri, tersedia tempat parkir, dan cocok untuk wisata berkendara mandiri. Mungkin kurang cocok untuk keluarga dengan orang lanjut usia. Karena ini villa, dari tempat parkir ke kamar ada dua tangga, sangat merepotkan jika membawa barang bawaan yang besar. Adanya embun pada pagi dan sore hari membuat tanah dan tangga menjadi licin. Kebersihan kamar rata-rata, ada rambut di sprei. Perlengkapan kamar lebih tua. Saat pemesanan, gambar menunjukkan ada bathtub, tetapi tidak tersedia saat saya check in.

Tidak terlalu jauh dari bandara, sekitar delapan kilometer, lingkungan asri, dekat dengan lapangan golf, ruangan luas, ada resto, nyaman sekali. Direkomendasikan untuk liburan dan wisata keluarga.

Ini adalah hotel terbaik sebagai resor golf. Saya sangat merekomendasikannya. Ini juga bagus sebagai lapangan berjalan kaki.

Tidak ada sebotol air di kamar jadi kami membawanya ke meja depan dengan berjalan kaki 10 menit, jam 10 malam di meja depan. Seorang pria berkata tidak memilikinya dan bar tutup. Saya tahu mereka memilikinya di suatu tempat karena ini adalah resor golf, jadi saya meminta untuk mendapatkannya. Orang itu baru saja mengatakan barnya tutup dan tidak repot-repot mengambil botol. Saya akhirnya memanggang air keran di kamar untuk air minum. Pelayanannya sangat buruk, tidak pernah menginap.

Great big rooms, lovely lake and golf course views, super friendly and helpful staff, fast room service meals. In our particular room the kitchen cupboards were a bit wonky and some fresh painting needed, but minor compared to the general feeling of luxury and peacefulness.

While the property was well located (for us) the grounds and layout were exception & inviting and the unit we stayed in, good, clean and presentable, What seriously let this place down was the restaurant and dining service. The Food was just food, very average, no wow factor and no Love shown on the plate with the presentation. The chef /cooks obviously were having a bad day or didn't care. I suspect the later. The wait staff were un-inspiring, lacked training (or just didn't care), did not smile and chat with us about the food and menu, nor did they provide a wait service to our table that was anything other than mediocre. The wine was plonked on out table in a bucket which we opened and we poured ourselves. Plates, glasses were not cleared away in a timely manner and mostly we were ignored or forgotten while other customers came after and were served before us. We waited for more than 45 minutes for the starter to be served, complaining twice about the delay before service. On discussion with the manager, he agreed to not charge for the starters and discounted the mains, and while this helped appease the situation we left feeling very angry about our treatment as customers and members of the Acor group. We selected Peppers Clearwater as it alluded to be a better class of hotel, accommodation and service. Such a disappointment, - and for us - never to return or use a Peppers brand restaurant again.

Quite misleading, property listed as resort, and it is nothing like resort , golf club next to them is not a part of their facility , there is no health club and no swimming pool or any other amenity Just an appartment with a nice view

While the apartment we stayed in was very clean, it is starting to show signs of dated-ness and is in need of a re-vamp in the near future. We stayed here as we had a function on site. I personally didn't particularly like waking up to myriad golfers already on course but that is the nature of the resort itself, and I get that! However it felt like we were in a fish-bowl. My husband on the other hand thought it was great sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake, watching the golfers play. I felt
