Took a long time to check in. Had an hard time understanding the person checking us in. Room was hot when we checked in and it had a smell and took a long time to cool down.

Nice place to stay if you're going to Worlds/Oceans of Fun as it's super convenient and the staff is friendly. Nice breakfast bar, especially if you have kids, and the pool is well maintained. BK and Wendy's on same block makes it easier to avoid theme park meal prices. 15 easy minutes away from Royals and Chiefs stadiums.

Comfort Inn took great care of us. When we needed something they had it right away for us. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was very scrumptious. Overly my family had a wonderful time.

This property is very outdated. The paint was awful, the carpet felt damp, the hotel smelled and their were numerous things that looked like they needed fixed. Everything from hanging drywall, to cracks in the walls, to only a few lights in the room. The elevator floors were dirty, it was just not a good place and I wouldnt stay there again. The proximity to worlds of fun and a variety of free breakfast to choose from was the only good thing besides the staff being okay.

We were there is weekend and had to come back to town so stayed there again, the room we got this time was a little rough compared to the first room we had over the weekend. Hair dryer didn’t work, patches missing in ceiling (probably some repair), some things weren’t plugged in elevator wasn’t working for anyone who was on the 2nd floor. Staff was awesome and friendly and as helpful as could be! I would stay again. Room just needed some love.

All rooms on the first floor smelled horrible! Finally got a room on the 3rd floor. Ceiling and wall had water damage. No TV channels until the clerk came up with a master remote, then only 2 channels. Back parking lot has broke down tour busses, a semi and a shipping container sitting there.The ice machine gives half water half ice

I enjoyed the good prices, friendly staff, and good rooms with free breakfast. The area around the hotel had homeless persons walking around frequently though.

Only 2 negatives. 1, room had very damp smell and 2, no housekeeping services. Had to request day before. This is not acceptable to me and will bypass comfort inn for this.
