The best of three paradors we visited on this trip. Beautiful public spaces, very comfortable room and superb restaurant, plus staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Perfect for a visit to Aranjuez in addition to Chinchon itself.

We chose the hotel based on recommendation. The location was excellent, very close to the bullring. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our experience of Parador hotels has been very good. Would definitely recommend a visit

Large, comfortable ,well appointed room. All clean and luxurious. Lovely staff, excellent food and secure parking available at small extra charge. Perfect stop off outside Madrid. Beautiful medieval centre

One of the best paradors to stay in, regarding location, hospitality and value for money. The staff were exceptional and very professional. The lunch was of good local produce and served correctly with a smile.

Discovering this parador was an unexpected pleasure. Although it was the eighth parador we have visited, this one was special. The staff was excellent, the food very good, and the room, including the bed, were perfect.

Pool was beautiful, staff was very friendly and professional. However, out of the 4 Paradores I stayed at, this wx was the only one that I could not use the internet. The desk clerk tried for several minutes to help, but nothing worked.

Very nice hotel build in a converted nunnery. Lovely hotel in an old Spanish town. Rooms were good but a bit on the dark side.Food in the restaurant was very good and certainly worth a visit. Good safe garage parking for a fee. Nice staff. The hotel is full of character.

Chinchon is near Madrid and is a wonderful place to be in its own right. Ideal for visiting Aranjuez (Spain's King's Palace and better than French Versailles, Toledo, etc. The Parador has all the usual excellent facilities and the general manager Ms. Nieves Montisi Yagüe is excellent in resolving any local issues. Parking is difficult in Chinchon so would recommend using Parador parking (14€/night). However, off season, one could be lucky but be aware of the parking fine which can be 200€! Like all Parador, this is NOT a standard hotel but reflects local culture and furniture - so not for someone with standard hotel furnishings!
