Amazing hotel, lovely room, breakfast was excellent, top quality service from all members of staff, the value for money was brilliant too.

I and my wife stayed at Sannot Riverside Boutique Hotel in Jan 2025 for 23 nights. All of hotel staffs were very friendly and most of them could speak fluent Chinese, some also spoke English. A complimentary breakfast was provided daily with slight variations. The hotel is not located in the city center but by the riverside, surrounded by trees, offering fresh air and minimal airplane noise. There was a massage shop just in front of the hotel, which we frequently visited after making reservations. Additionally, a nearby seafood restaurant along the river served excellent meals & drinks, and we also enjoyed delightful dinners at the restaurant of Cross Chiang Mai Riverside Hotel which is just next door. To get to the city, we could conveniently book a Bolt ride for under 100 Baht. Mr. Zhang, the boss of hotel, mentioned that our 23-night stay is the longest new record among the guests had stayed at this hotel. One evening, he invited us to a wonderful dinner and served us excellent foods, drinks as well as nice Chinese tea. Since we stayed in January, the temperature dropped at night exceptionally, making the room slightly chilly. Upon mentioning this, Mr. Zhang went out went out immediately to purchase two small heaters, which are not commonly found in Thailand, and then installed them in our room. One minor improvement would be increasing the water pressure in the shower. However, daily room cleaning, garden maintenance excellently, and pest control were well taken care of, keeping the surroundings pleasant. If given the chance, we would love to return. Thank you for the warm and kind hospitality during our stay.

What can I say but only good stuff about this well located and well designed hotel next to the river. Windy and comfy. Very satisfied. Staff were friendly and breakfast was great. Recommend to rent a car to move around. This hotel is very homely and the banyan tree is iconic. Nice. Room was good and firm bed helps me sleep well.

We arrived early and were upgraded to a river view suite. The hotel became more and more comfortable. The service was very good. The room was cleaned several times a day.

A small elegant hotel in a great location by the Ping River. The rooms are very clean & well designed for a comfortable stay. Close to many, many good restaurants, bars, markets & the old city. Also close to 7/11 & other supermarkets. The staff are very dedicated & helpful. Highly recommended.

This tome I have a business trip to Chiang Mai and I return to stay at B2 Colonial Riverside again. I have a good staying in this time. The room is clean and complete set up. Bathroom and toilet are proper as its function and the air conditioner working well. It is different from my previous time in April. I will be back to stay this hotel again if I have a chance to Chiangmai. The hotel lobby is at the ground floor and there is a mini cafe as well. I order a cup of coffee with a chicken wrap. The taste is good. Please note that the cafe is accepted cashless payment ONLY. 😊

The hotel is on the other side of the Mae Ping River, and is less crowded than the ancient city. The hotel covers a large area. On the day of check-in, there was another wedding on the lawn behind. Please see the pictures for details. There are Thai food, Western breakfast, etc. Overall, the price-performance ratio is average. If you like leisure, have high requirements for the hotel environment, and have high requirements for breakfast, it is recommended to stay at their home. Among the guests staying, there are Koreans, Thais, Europeans, Americans, and Indians. Disadvantages: The hotel linens are average, not so new, you can bring your own disposable bath towels. At the same time, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided. You can buy a set of 30 pieces. It is recommended to solve it in 711 in advance or bring it to the hotel. If the hotel room faces the road, there will be noise at night. The sound of motorcycles is quite loud, and it can still be heard clearly after closing the doors and windows. The surrounding business is not developed, there is no 711, and there are not many restaurants. There are only a few star restaurants, and there are basically no roadside stalls. If you need to buy something, it is recommended to buy it on the other side of the river before returning to the hotel.

The hotel is a mix of French and Thai design styles. All the waiters are very friendly. The design of the room is especially in line with my personal preferences. The bathroom and bedroom are completely separated, and the balcony room makes the air fresh. Starting this year, burning the mountain before spring plowing in Chiang Mai is basically prohibited, so you can enjoy the perfect sunset from the hotel swimming pool. The hotel is a little far from the ancient city in terms of location, but after getting familiar with it, walking from the hotel along the moat to the ancient city every day is a pleasant enjoyment.
