Hotel dekat Ochang Lake Park, Cheongju

This was my second time here and my recommended hotel for work colleagues from the US. They were equally as impressed as my first time here, hence why I came back. Would highly recommend this hotel.

In order to visit Korea from abroad and Jeju Island, I searched for a hotel near the airport for one night The view on the 24th floor was also very good The price is good, the interior is spacious, clean, and above all, there are kitchen facilities and washing machines that can be cooked, and the refrigerator is large, so it is good for long-term stays. Most of the hotels are carpets, but it was better because it was a floor floor. Just, When I went to bed at night, I felt like I smelled a little sewer, so I closed all the drain lids and slept. This smell came out a little after the washing machine turned around. There is also a point that Zeco is sensitive... Mudin says he doesn't feel the smell. The hotel is in the new city, so it's good to have a lot of shops and restaurants around.

There are many shops nearby, so it was in a convenient location. The front desk staff were also friendly. It is about a 20-25 minute taxi ride from the airport. However, it was disappointing that the room was not cleaned properly, and there was hair and makeup left behind from the previous guest. The desk was also old, as the wood was peeling and I had to rub my arms against it several times, which hurt.

The Grand Plaza is a nice place to stay. Rooms are large and very clean. Great water pressure! Staff is polite and very attentive. In house breakfast has a great variety of both Asian and Western foods. Hotel restaurants are good, but not very busy due to the overabundance of local restaurants that surround the hotel, most of which have menus with English on them. You can get a great Korean mean for less than $10 within a block of the Grand Plaza in any direction.

We booked a two night stay here, but the first night was so bad that we wanted to check out. Because we brought our elderly with us, they complained that the room was very cold, so we went to the counter and asked for help in English. The counter staff asked us to turn up the temperature ourselves and they would go upstairs to check later. Because the temperature of the other room we booked was not set as high, and due to the language barrier and inability to understand Korean, we waited for about 20 minutes and went to the counter to ask for assistance. At this time, the counter staff took a small electric heater from the counter, turned on the temperature after arriving in the room, plugged in the heater, said nothing, and just left and closed the door... The poor attitude made our whole family dumbfounded. I thought, what did we do wrong? When I returned to the hotel the next day, I saw that there were still tattered sponges and dishcloths in another bathroom. The breakfast was great! But the service attitude at the counter is really unacceptable.

The indoor space is quite large. You can use the bathtub to soak in the bathtub to relieve the fatigue after a day of walking. The bed and pillows are very comfortable to sleep on. There is a 24-hour supermarket opposite the hotel and there are department stores nearby. It is very convenient. I will want to visit again next time I travel to Cheongju. .

Overall good, only when I checked in, I was asked to pay 20,000 won/room. I booked two rooms and gave me a refund the next day, but we didn't know what the payment was to be prepaid (I don't know if it was a platform problem or a hotel problem) The room floor heating air conditioning is superb, even the bathroom has a great restaurant (but the simple breakfast is really very simple. The person who stays in the room should understand that it is not hungry to fill in the stomach) and ㄧ I can't figure out the meaning of hanging a green card. Isn't it not to change the quilt quilt? (The result is not hanging, will not clean up the room, do not know if I understand the error 😑!)

There are two hotels in the same building. The front desk of this hotel is on the 4th floor. The front desk smelled very good. The room was large and clean. It was good that the face towel was fluffy. 20 minutes walk from KTX Gomatsu Station and 10 minutes walk from the nearest bus stop to Qingzhou Airport. It was just right for a walk!

I was worried because it was my first time going there, but I chose it after trusting the reviews, and it didn't disappoint. There are a lot of delicious restaurants because there are apartments nearby. I was a little confused looking for the hotel lobby counter. LOL The building felt more like a modified officetel than a hotel, but it wasn't bad. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, so I had a good time. Thank you.

Clean, amenities are great! Location was a little empty but still had quite a few restaurants around the area!
