Ulasan Ibis Chennai Sipcot

Reception stuff weren’t the friendliest, only 1 staff was warm and smiley when requesting you for review your at the end (seems quite practical).  We checked in at 8pm due to an afternoon flight, so there shouldn’t be any reasons why the hotel room isn’t properly cleaned. The room only had 1 set of everything  (drinking water, drinking glass, clothes hanger, vanity kit, towel, no slippers) when we were two guests and we had to separately request for these, which is fine. The shower gel was already empty when one of us went to wash up first, took them a while to come back with the refill. Toilet paper was also super low and didn’t look changed or tidied (no triangle fold). Space was moderate, cleanliness was questionable. The toilet bowl had some uncleaned poop stain, shower head has strange filth sticking from where the water flow out from. Safe in wardrobe was faulty, turns out it’s low on battery and the technician only came at 11pm+ despite us reporting about it shortly after we entered our room at 8pm+. Bed was too soft (in the bad way?), sheets weren’t in the best condition. Towels were white-turned-GREY, looking very, very used.  Didnt have the best or most decent stay, and also didn’t expect this for a hotel under Accor. The only plus point is how it’s further in from entrance, which feels a bit more private and safe, though getting Ubers was inconvenient as the pick up always changes to Novotel for some reason.

Stay was pleasant. Service was good. Did not try their food. Overall good and will recommend to others.

The ventillation in the room does not works. When I leave my bathroom in the morning, that water is still present in the same quantity when I return to the room. Infestation of pests has already started and I got one cockroach killed yesterday. When asked to spray, the attendant said that spray is not there. He just came with a towel and killed the coackroach. The tap of sink was in a situation that it was spurting water everywhere and whole batroom was getting wet. When I asked the plumber to fix it, he came and told me that this is how sink should be, he offered to reduce the speed of water though. Later on after insisting too much with the reception, tap filter was changed to make it frothy and not pointed. My bed makes weird noises when I turn around in my sleep and mattresses are such that you can sink into them. Not good quality. It once happened that plumber came to fix the faucet of sink and made a mess, when I asked reception to clean it up, the lady from cleaning departmenet came and handed me a towel. I asked her I did not asked for a towel, she said that we have already cleaned in day time and we will not clean again. Then I had to tell her that your plumber made this mess. Had it been mine I would have cleaned up myself. But this needs to be cleaned by your staff only. She grudgingly oblidged. All in all this hotel is ok for a night or two, but not beyond that. There is not enough space in room for walking and no scope of sunlight. Even the ventilation does not seems to work at all. Claustrophobic it is, is what I can say. Not the place for long stay, dont get stuck like me, who paid for 18 nights and now am being forced to stay.

Hotel is located near SIPCOT and is hidden behind Novotel. I think it shares premises with Novotel as the entrance to both the property is same. I could neither find a Valet nor help with my luggage. Anyway, super fast and quick check-in was done. Surely the room was spacious and neat. Had a comfortable bed. A small "couch" occupied a corner and practically you can store your baggage. In room amenities were sufficient. The restroom was small to my liking. It's more like a cubicle. It was neat and amenities were basic. Shower area is too small. You cannot literally turn inside. Check-out was swift as well. Overall, worth the stay and for the price. But as a Hotel brand better standards are expected. Amenities, valet, baggage helper etc. Hope to stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay here at the property and loved the hospitality. Top notch service and room was in perfect condition. The food was great and loved the chef's special menu. Would recommend the property to others without any hesitation. All our needs were met and exceeded beyond our expectations!

I am currently staying at this hotel for six nights, and it has been a truly disappointing experience. The hotel staff has consistently made mistakes with my food orders, taking an unreasonable amount of time to deliver them. The worst part is their lack of assistance when you inquire about the menu — their response is simply that they don't know what’s available and they cannot provide any meal apart from the menu and suggest scanning the menu yourself. The menu options are extremely limited, many of which I don’t even eat. On top of that, upon arrival, I was told that outside food isn’t allowed, yet the hotel doesn't provide sufficient choices. When I ordered tea, it took 40 minutes to arrive but still I received cold tea When ordering food, it took over an hour, and the wrong orders were delivered not once, but twice, and even a third time.0rdered for tikka day before yesterday got paneer tikka same thing happened today ordered for paneer tikka masala gravy but got the stater delivered.

It was. A lovely stay staff is very much helpful and the reception team is proactive in taking care if needs food was very good breakfast was awesome will be keep coming Special mention to Akanksha and Debo who made sure everything is fine with my stay

Good Branded Hotel with very nice ambiance the cleaning service and all facilities are good and staffs are very cooperative. The food is delicious and other amenities and programs are good to go with your daily routine. I enjoyed my time here and would definitely love to choose this as my stay the next time.

India Chennai Ibis Chennai Sipcot - An Accord Brand We would like to recommend this Hotel Ibis Chennai Sipcot - An Accord Brand, because my staying there was a fabulous! I had a chance to stay in this hotel many days & enjoy a kind attitude from staff of that Hotel. Everything is nice, clean & new there: furniture, bed’s stuff (soft mattress and pillows), washroom’s stuff (the towels new, soft and smell fresh). There is a nice bar with friendly bar tenders, kind attitude, fast service and yummy drinks! They have a big menu includes Indian and European food. Chefs can cook for you even Mediterranean yummy food, as well! There is a convenient location. So close to Kovalam beach where you can enjoy brizz and beautiful view of the sea. Fantastic service staff and clean, hygienic, and safe place. It's a great choice for a solo woman traveller to Chennai, whether for a business or leisure trip.

Every thing is good here , Thankyou Debopriya for the sweets I miss seeing the lady in saree if I not sure of name if correct piyaka she was so graceful I use to come to sipcot leaving Omr for her hospitality and to greet her Ibis should have staff like her, Kudos to the hotel ,
