Hotels in Tianfu Square/Chengdu Museum, Chengdu

Zhu helped us book our Panda Base ticket at very late night, so thank you Zhu. Clark was helpful as he can converse in English and made us feel welcome as we arrived. Check in was efficient, we enjoyed the free Hagen Daz ice cream too!

The hotel is near to Tianfu metro station and easy to find the way from the metro station. There is a high food court with all types of Sichuan food above the metro. The room is spacious and most importantly clean. We booked the room with breakfast and the spread has sufficient choices of Asian food but limited salad and western breakfast. The staff at reception like Xiao Ning are very young but friendly and try to be helpful when they can but information may be limited. The hotel is within walking distance to a number of places such as the museum and People’s square.

Very close to Chunxi Road and a lovely room. Wasn’t the cleanest room I’ve stayed in China but it was adequate and I appreciate I have high standards. The traffic is relentless and may cause issues for some people who are sensitive to noise though. I would stay here again

A very conveniently located hotel in Chengdu city center near Tai Koo Li shopping district.  The service is friendly, efficient and welcoming. English is spoken at the check in desk and foreign guests shouldn’t have any issues with staying here hassle-free.  The breakfast is fairly varied, possibly geared more towards the locals, but there is plenty for international palates.  Bedroom was spacious, comfy and quiet. Some of the hard furnishings might seem slightly worn, perfectly normal for the age of the hotel. My only gripe was the non-functioning holder for the bathroom shower head which wouldn’t hold the shower head in place as it was broken. However, the overhead shower curtain worked perfectly and was a substitute for the actual shower itself.

The check-in experience was fantastic! As soon as I entered the lobby, I was attracted by the bright and elegant decoration. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and efficient, and they quickly processed my check-in and kindly recommended nearby restaurants. The room was decorated warmly, and the bedding was soft and fluffy, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. The smart toilet and the large projection screen added to the happiness. The scented candles and brand-name toiletries in the bathroom were also a big plus. The breakfast was rich in variety, and the freshly cooked noodles were extremely fragrant. The fruits were fresh and sweet. When I was leaving, I realized I had left my charger behind. After contacting the hotel, they quickly arranged to send it back to me. The service, facilities, and hygiene were all impeccable. It's definitely the first choice for travel!

Location: near chunxi pedestrian shopping area Room: spacious enough and clean Meal: Breakfast has wide spread and also provided free supper every night. Service: Rated 4/5 as we preferred the night time check in staff to be more thoughtful to remind us that we can go for the hotel supper since we check in late at 9pm. We only have simple dinner as we took the evening train from JZG. Amenities: Free self service laundry room This is our 1st time staying in Atour chain hotel and will still consider to stay in their hotel when traveling to China.

Definitely worth more than what I paid. The staff were exceptionally well-trained, welcoming, and polite—something I haven’t experienced at other hotels in China. Even the lady at the restaurant, who only spoke Mandarin, was incredibly friendly. The hotel’s location isn’t very close to the metro, but the great service more than made up for it. Breakfast was good—though limited in variety, it was more than adequate. The room was spacious, clean, and filled with essential amenities. I especially appreciated the unlimited supply of drinking water for guests. But it would’ve been even better if there was a small fridge in the room. My only concern was that the hotel shares the building and elevators with other occupants. I occasionally noticed the doors to each floor left open, which raised some safety concerns since it felt like anyone could access the hotel room floors.

- Safety (This is where the stay at this hotel turned out to be a bad experience to me.): There was a nail sticking out of the floor and I only found out because my partner stepped on it!! - Air conditioner: another bad experience.. It only worked as a heater so think twice if you’re going to visit when the weather is hot. We ended up sleeping with the window opened. - Cleanliness: The room is clean but the elevators could use a little decoration and cleaning. - Service: a little short staff, only one person handling all the customers at the lobby so it took a while checking in to the hotel. - Location: The only good thing about this hotel. It’s very close to IFS building and metro (line 2) exit A. Make sure you know the hotel name in Chinese. You’ll have to look for it once you come out of the metro.

Hotel located near Tianfu Square subway station. Finding it is a real challenge. Signage in Chinese. The strategy is to ask the delivery guys. They will gladly show you where and they are everywhere n anytime. The hotel is very clean n the room is spacious n clean. Fresh daily change of white clean towel. We stayed for 6 nights. They do change the bedsheets. The manager Sky is very helpful. He shows us the laundry room n how to operate the washer n dryer. We were provided with 2 bottles of water daily and can ask for additional bottles if needed. Toiletries were also stocked daily. Very close to Chengdu Huangcheng Mosque. There's lots of Halal food within walking distance.

The location is excellent being opposite Chunxi Road and IFS, around 15 minutes walk. There are many eateries and restaurants, and few convenience stores located around the hotel. Service is prompt and staff are generally friendly. There is also a variety of food selection for hotel breakfast. It would be good if they provide a shelf to store toiletries in the shower room for guests who bring their own toiletries. For those who dont, the hotel does provide shampoo and shower foam for use. It's a hotel that I will recommend families and friends to stay in Chengdu.
