Hotels in Wenshu Monastery/Longhu Shangcheng Sky Street, Chengdu

The hotel is close to Wenshu Monastery Metro station (Line 1, 5-10min walk) and a good starting point for travelling in all directions. The staff at the reception was nice and they tried their best to explain everything to us in English (translating tools are very helpful/needed here in general!). Although the hotel has a non-smoking policy (signs are up everywhere), nobody really cares and the lobby as well as the room had a cigarette smell. Nevertheless, the hotel and the room was very clean, although the glorious times of the Celebrity are over. It is a bit old and could need some renovation during which they could also install a noise protection that cancels the sound from your neighbors (we had someone next to us snoring all night and we could perfectly hear it). However, the breakfast compensated for a lot. The selection of mostly Chinese dishes was amazing. Overall, the hotel has a fair cost/performance ratio and we can recommend it.

Hotel Review I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel in Chengdu, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is located in a new building, which gives it a modern and fresh feel. The rooms are incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The corridors are well-maintained and beautifully designed, adding to the overall pleasant ambiance of the place. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay. What stood out the most was the friendly staff. They were attentive, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any request, making the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s such a nice place to sleep in Chengdu, whether you’re here for business or leisure. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

This is a great hotel. When checking in, the hotel staff allowed me to see multiple rooms and choose the one I liked best. I also had some trouble receiving packages from Taobao which they helped me with. Super responsive over Wechat and went above and beyond. Specifically recommend Li Cong at the front desk. Also, the free drink at the Whisky Bar is nice as the bar is lively and has great drinks. The room and hotel grounds were very well maintained and full of character. Highly recommend for Chinese speaking foreigners!

Beautiful hotel!! The staff were so helpful and friendly. One of the staff members even let us use his phone number to order food because we did not have a Chinese number. It is a very short walk to the station and they have a convenient location for pick up/drop off if you want to take a DiDi or taxi. The room was very clean and the view was beautiful. It was also sound proofed very well.

Hotel staff are very friendly. Stayed there for 8 nights with my fiancé for our holiday in Chengdu and got a free room upgrade ☺️ The housekeeping auntie also help us to wash our clothes and check in every morning if there’s any clothes we would like it to be washed! Hotel have delivery robot which is very cute, fast & efficient. Our room is very very big, comfortable and it does feels like home. Will definitely book back this hotel when I come back to Chengdu for a holiday in future 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Hotel is walking distances from the metro and few mins drive to places like Tai Koo Li, Chunxi Road, IFS and other eateries! The hotel was wonderful! Traditionally decorated but modern and new facilities at the same time. Spacious rooms that felt luxurious. Nice amenities (water, coffee,razors, shower caps, toothpaste and toothbrush, flip flops, fresh new towels)that renewed every day. There was a tea station and a nice chair for us to have a wonderful teatime. The hotel had a nice terrace like space in the first floor that was wonderful if you wanted to spend your morning or afternoon there. The personnel was beyond polite and lovely, the cleaning staff was so kind and kept our room every day spotless clean. The hotel is in the center of everything, next to the metro,next to all the nice things someone wants to explore in chengdu. I loved our time here! I hope I come back soon and I will visit the same hotel again for sure! Everything was lovely and perfectly organized! Another thing that I want to mention is the extremely helpful free access to the laundry room. We stayed for many nights so it came handy for us to have somewhere to clean our clothes. I hope I could give more stars. This hotel deserves each and every one. Thank you for everything.

room and facilities are excellent. Room size is decently large and all details are be taken in the room. Washing machine and dryer are available for use for free. The hotel location is quite convenient. The most important is that receptionists are very helpful. They very patiently answered all questions.

This hotel was fantastic. While pretty simple and new, the staff were extremely helpful and would easily communicate via WeChat to coordinate room cleaning or any other support needed. The bathtub is a major selling point as it's pretty much an indoor pool in your room. Would definitely stay here when I visit Chengdu again.

NICESOE hotel is in a quiet Alleyway near Wenshu Monastery. It provides basic but very clean rooms. 24 hours open with friendly staff. Metro station at 3 min walk and Tianfu Square at easy walking distance. Absolutely recommended for budget stays with excellent price/quality. Sure again!!

Facilities: The facilities are good overall, the yard is large, and the rest area is spacious Hygiene: The hygiene is also good, and it is relatively clean overall Environment: Coming in from the office building, it looks like an unfinished building before entering the hotel, and the hotel is built in a tropical style after entering Service: The service is very good, but I personally feel that it makes people feel a little awkward occasionally. I prefer to be more easy-going, hahaha The biggest problem with the hotel is the sound insulation, and then there is a little smell in the room when you first enter, I hope it can be improved
