If you are a foreigner, I would recommend u to stay here. The decoration and design are very unique and full with Chinese traditional culture. The staffs are very friendly and helpful

Hotel is at excellent location and easy to get around. Next to Wenshu monastery and a busy famous touristy Wenshu street. Room is spacious, with beautiful and traditional design. The whole courtyard has a very peaceful environment. The staff is very kind to pack breakfast for us as we needed to leave early the next morning. They also helped to keep my luggage till I come back from Mt Siguniang.

Satisfy with services provided, room are excellent and view is magnificent, the free munchies and teabags are excellent taste.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days + 2 days after returning from JZG. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Tried their breakfast for 2 days and it’s nice, however it seems that their spread were mostly the same. Suggested to cover Dim sum steamer with lid as it’s best served when it’s hot. Overall, we are very happy to stay in this hotel and would love to come back the next time

Our hotel was located in a prime tourist location which despite the crowd, gave us a very private getaway. The traditional architecture of CD Yuenchi made me feel I was transported back in time but with all the modern facilities inside the room. The room was huge, we had movies to watch, and service was great. Getting around from our hotel was convenient as well. I would definitely stay here again! Of all of our travels around China’s beautiful hotels, this one may be the best. The gorgeous historic site, the carefully appointed rooms, the smell of blooming jasmine, the top service level of the staff - especially Sophia Yang. Absolutely in love. Thank you for making our anniversary great.

This hotel was a fantastic find, it was absolutely beautiful and peaceful despite being on a busy street. Cleanliness and amenities above par. Would definitely stay here again. 房间干净舒适、装修风格赏心悦目。 离文殊院景点特别近但依然安静。 下次还住这家！

Super location, right in the middle of WenShuYuan area. Full of restaurants, shops, bars and local street food stands. Very nice neighbourhood to experience Chengdu lifestyle. Hotel itself provides an unique experience, peaceful and cozy enviroment with original ancient Chinese yard artitechture. Fantastic location As many mentioned, poor hotel breakfast Great housekeeping, housekeeping staff is warm and nice! Reception is of varying quality depending on the who. Zha Xi Deng Ba was awesome help! We are so thankful to him, both when checking in and checking out. One particular night, we had to collect things from the reception. The lady on duty actually wondered out loud how she was supposed to know where our package was, since the one who received it was in the day shift. I would expect the hotel to have a system. Anyway, after a long search, we finally located our package. I would expect better accountability from the hotel.
