Best hotel in old town Chania Breakfast the best there is and a lot off choices from omelet to smoothies Dinners excellent and the staff friendly and nothing is to much Love to see you all next year Ps the jacuzy was really a bonus

A quaint hotel, converted from a very old townhouse. Very well located in Chania Old Town. Room adequately equipped and bed very comfortable. A/C worked well. Breakfast formula was quite good, but little variety from day to day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Website designer deserves an award for accentuating the positives of a less than luxurious hotel.

I have visited with friends for one week between 6th September till 12th. We booked the triple room. This hotel is extremely poor and extremely expensive for what it offers. First of all, the room stunk of mould. There is no storage in the room. I wanted to hung some clothes in the waredrobe but it stunk of mould and there was no room in it as it was full of bedding. The bathroom is poor and the shower unit leaks so everytime you have a shower the bathroom floods. There is a small kitchenette and there is hardly any equipment and no kettle for making a tea/coffee. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. My friends stayed on the double bed which was just about comfortable but the other two had the following problems: -the single bed was extremely hard that the first night I slept on it I woke up with pain in my neck. -the second night I attempted to use the sofa bed but the springs made an extremely loud noise that woke me up everytime I turned and woke my friends up. There is also a wooden door separating one room to another and I could hear everything the other guests were saying or doing so there was no acoustic isolation between the two rooms. At the time of booking they did not communicate that the rooms were cleaned only once every three days instead of every day which would be a standard service for a four star boutique hotel. Staff is extremely stingy. I asked for an extra coffee at breakfast and they said I would get charged for it. When I pointed out all of the above issues to the staff at reception but they did the minimum to rectify these problems. One of the staff member even came to try the beds upstairs and confessed that they were uncomfortable. He also smelled the waredrobe and agreed that it stunk. They placed a douvet on top of the hard single bed which made the situation a little bit better but made me sweat at night. When I asked for the rooms to be cleaned everyday they became all defensive and pointed out that there is a notice behind the door that tells you that the rooms are cleaned every three days…. They don’t tell you this at the time of booking. They did start cleaning the room everyday but could tell that it wasn’t done professionally and was done by themselves. I asked for some money compensation and they said I would only get €300 back only if I left the hotel and went to another one. We paid a LOT of money to stay in that rubbish hotel. Extremely unhappy, they steal money from people as we were extremely uncomfortable for the whole week. I wouldn’t normally leave a negative review but this was extremely appalling and I really feel robbed. Avoid!!!!

Arriviamo in questo hotel che si trova in un'ottima posizione, vicinissimo alle vie piene di locali e al porto. Certo, se cercate il parcheggio sotto l'hotel scordatelo, perché ogni giorno dovrete girare per trovare un buchino per poter parcheggiare, visto che la zona è trafficata. Giunti alla reception, ci dicono che la camera non si trova in quella struttura ma nelle vicinanze. Peccato che ci siamo ritrovati davanti ad una rampa di scale scomodissima, con gradini stretti e alti. La camera ci è sembrata pulita, un pochino scomoda la vasca in bagno perché non c'era nessun box quindi ad ogni doccia facevamo il lago (e non c'era nulla per poter asciugare a terra). La situazione con un minimo di spirito di adattamento potrebbe essere accettabilissima... Ma il weekend, è un faccia a faccia con la pazienza: oltre alla campana di una chiesa attaccata all'appartamento che inizia a suonare ad un orario improponibile, la domenica signori miei inizia una litania cantata per almeno 3 ore a tutto volume da voci maschili che di sicuro vi sveglieranno molto presto senza più restituirvi piú un minimo di riposo. Se dovete alzarvi presto è il posto che fa per voi, ma se la sera precedente fate tardi e volete dormire un pochino di più, allora evitate. Si può scegliere tra 4 opzioni di colazione abbondantissima ma poco variabile, se volete semplicemente un croissant potete andare al bar accanto dello stesso hotel, facente parte della stessa struttura, ma la dovrete pagare, anche se consumereste molto meno rispetto a ciò che è incluso nel prezzo del soggiorno. Il ragazzo che ci ha accolti è stato molto gentile e sorridente. Avremmo gradito però sapere dall'inizio della camera dislocata, delle scale (una persona con difficoltà non può trovarsi improvvisamente davanti ad una roba del genere senza preavviso) e della terribile sorpresa della domenica mattina. La chiarezza può essere un punto a favore.
