Serene place in the midst of dense forest. Amazing staff, very accomodating, Madhusudhan at reception planning the activities, Amit and team at the restaurant delivering excellent dining experience made sure the stay was pleasant. More than 80% of the staff are local and places nearby, knowing how to take care of the place and the property, blending smoothly into the background. Thank you for making the experience memorable.

Enjoyed every moment with fresh air, beautiful property surrounded by Nilgiri Mountain range. Birds coming to the balcony of room and trees all around do not allow to remain inside. Excellent care by the team like Chef Ileum, Naturalist Chetan and everyone. Guards are always concerned about safety and convenience. Have also observed MD of property Venkatesh taking care of minutest things for better services.

Beautiful property, nice rooms, good staff, great experience. They arranged nice activities which included nature walk, bird watching, Bandipur safari, cycling and indoor recreation games. Amazing bar by the pool with the view of Nilgiris. Restaurant with good food. If you are planning to visit Ooty, scratch that and go to Serai Bandipur instead.

It's a wonderful resort to stay especially with your kids. Actually I brought my child who is 8 months old. He loves greenery. He enjoyed a lot as it's surrounded by a buffer zone of the bandipur forest reserve. Staff is so friendly they took care of my child while we having lunch and dinner. Food which is available at the sanctuary resturant is tasty but expensive. Accessibility is good but last stretch of 5kms from Bandipur is not good. Apart from that, serai bandipur is a real treat to the people who loves nature. I just thank them. I'm planning to visit again in next year.

This is a lovely property beautifully crafted in the jungle. It is well maintained and the service was top notch. The staff were very friendly. The view from the room was amazing and waking up to the birds chirping overviewing the nilgiri hills was a surreal experience.

I just want to take a moment & share our experiences about this beautiful place. Our stay at The Serai Bandipur was exceptional! The staff's warm hospitality, impeccable service, and attention to detail made our vacation truly unforgettable. The best highlights were, - Spacious and well-appointed rooms with stunning views - Delicious dining options, including exceptional breakfast spread - Relaxing spa treatments and amenities - Friendly and knowledgeable staff - A mesmerising Safari experience The resort exceeded our expectations in every way. We felt pampered, relaxed, and rejuvenated. Special thanks to all their staff, specially Basvanna, Mallesh & few others I don’t remember their names for their outstanding service. Arriving delayed on a long trip from Bangalore stepping into the Residence apartment - as it was really an apartment - was the start of an evening endulged in serene luxury and comfort. The apartment with bath, living room and rooftop veranda was exactly the spot for our romantic get-away we had imagined. The place was clean and things was in good condition throughout. The romantic dinner at the poolside with bonfire, flowers and candlelights all around the dinner table was a perfect setting for an extraordinary dinner experience. The staff was most accomodating and flexible and made good suggestions with the menu. Food was magnificent founded in Indian culture and deliciously served. Even the rain disturbed very little as the table was quickly relocated to a dry place. The only weak spot was the breakfast as the selection was limited compared to the level we experienced during the dinner. For international guests the breakfast selection was very "Indian" - which is delicious in its own right but for some a little too flavoured. A certain place to go with more time to spend next time.

A beautiful resort located just four hours from Bangalore, The Serai left us thoroughly impressed with its stunning gardens and remarkable architecture, showcasing a perfect blend of stone and wood. Our courtyard room offered a spectacular view of the Nilgiris from its deck, adding to the serene ambiance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, with special mentions to Rateesh, Navas, and Arun for their outstanding service. For those seeking a quick, quiet, and serene getaway, The Serai is an ideal choice. While the resort offers a variety of activities, we found that the jungle safari didn't quite measure up to others we have experienced around the world. However, the overall experience at The Serai more than made up for it. Thank you folks at The Serai, for making it a memorable 2 night stay for us!

Been doing a lot of forest/ nature stays over the last years.. Nd this one takes the cake for the right blend of nature and luxury.. We have cheetal coming to the backyard, elephants could visit you across the electric fence (if you get lucky).. A lot of beautiful bird species.. Peacock sounds all around etc.. The stay.. Log hut that we stayed in.. Is very well kept nd notably very spacious. Comfortable beds, an amazing full wall window looking at the reserve, clean and spacious bathrooms.. Overall a 5 on 5. What impressed us the most.. Was the food.. Really good food.. We are vegetarians, so can't comment about the non veg.. But the veg options were plenty and most importantly, delicious. Couldn't stop eating at the breakfast buffet.. Hmmm.. The staff was very friendly and polite. Overall.. This goes into our top fav properties.. Be it for wildlife or just chilling around nd winding down. Thank you Serai Bandipur!!
