Ulasan Sercotel Carlos III

Hotel is at good location while the city is also very good. Everything is at walking distance from main bus stop. Don’t make a mistake to take taxi to La Manga which costed me 40€ one side while the bus was only 7€ for 2 people. We took the bus back and it took only 30 mins.

Travelled to Cartagena ,, hotel was in a great location for city-sightseeing. Car park was 2 minute walk away and hotel gave a 15% discount off the car park fee. Breakfast was plentiful and had gluten-free options. Hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. Great hotel!

The photos display on the website of this hotel are not from this hotel. The hotel doesn’t have swimming pool and it is not closed to the beach either. Hotel is very modern and it is good for a 3 starts hotel, they have even minibar in the rooms but the beds are not comfortable for me, the mattress are not hard enough and you feel you are downing in. The shower is really good tho! The staff from the reception should be more friendly and welcome the guest nicer. No nice touch upon arrival nor when we did the check out. Hotel is ok for 1 night stay and if you dont plan to stay in the room too long.

Hotel bonito y moderno. Muy simpáticos en recepción. La verdad que parece de más estrellas. Baños nuevos y limpios y colchones comodisimos. Tienen agua de cortesía y accesorios de baño también. Muy recomendable

Ha una sala con i cabinati, in bagno kit con spazzolino struccante e tanto altro. A pochi passi dalla strada principale su cui si trovano quasi tutti i punti d'interesse.

Sauberes und zentrales Hotel (750 m zum Zentrum) mit gutem WLAN. Badezimmer mit Duschproblemen. Ein sehr seltenes Design bei den Hähnen . Nur bei einer bestimmten Stellung kommt kein Wasser mehr. Ich hatte eine kleine Überschwemmung, die glücklicherweise verschwand. Hatte mehrmals einen Schock mit kaltem Wasser. Bequemes Bett ohne normale Nachttische. Die Bar neben dem Eingang öffnet um elf. The location îs great, next to the city center. We were delighted how Isabel , Rocio and Mariano explained the details of the city. They also told us where to go for lunch and dinner. They were very attentive to pur needs. They could have not done it better. A 10 for the recepcionists of this hotel. And 20 for customer service

Lovely clean hotel, lovely staff. A side street away from the main road so quieter, lovely room, efficient aircon, and a kettle, fridge and lovely choice for breakfast. There is no bar but plenty of bars around for meals and drinks. Very reasonable and restful place.

Fabulous hotel Everything new and clean. Large room with quiet air conditioning, sensible light blanket on the bed Great amenities. Friendly helpful staff. Close to bus and train station. Not as far from the waterfront and main tourist area of the town as it might seem. About the best mid-range hotel I’ve experienced

My experience was awesome . Everything was great, especially the staff was fully specialist and friendly !!! The rooms were accordingly arrange. The reception were very helpful and willing the guide us .

Once again we tried Sercotel and I was not impressed. Hotel is neat and clean but kind of on the back side of the street? I booked a twin room but upon check in, 4 twin beds rather than 2 which made the room feel like a dormitory. I asked if we might change rooms but was told they were fully booked. Unbeknownst to me at the time, there was a 4 star Sercotel right behind the one we were in that was actually less expensive and had room available???

Stayed for four nights. Everything about the hotel, with two exceptions (see below), was excellent, and the breakfast (choice and quality) was very very good. My two gripes were: a) We had to park in a nearby underground car park even though the hotel had it's own underground car park. We were told this was full, but on one night, at least, there was free spaces. b) They had turned off air conditioning in rooms at the hotel, allegedly because it was no longer warm given the time of year. It may not be warm by Spanish standards but, being from the UK, our room was far too hot overnight. Therefore, it was impossible to get a good night's sleep while we were there and, as far as I'm concerned.that is basic!! In summary, excellent hotel, excellent location, but penny pinching has cost them a good review from this particular customer. Very short-sighted in my view.

My wife and I have just returned home after a short 3-night break at the Carlos III hotel in Cartagena. The break was intended as a celebration of my 60th birthday. We didn't have to travel far, as we are residents in Puerto de Mazarron, which is some 35kms to the south of Cartagena. All things considered, the hotel was a really excellent choice: The room - on the top floor - was spacious and airy. Breakfasts were included in the overall price of the stay, and proved to be very good, with a wide choice of food available, from croissants and savouries to more substantial cooked items including scrambled and fried eggs, bacon, beans and pancakes. All the staff proved to be helpful yet discreet, and the hotel itself was located very conveniently within a reasonable distance of the Cartagena marina and seafront, and most of the city's other major cultural and historical attractions. We recommend the hotel very highly. It is competitively priced, and has something for everyone.
