Le Pathio Catare ha l'innegabile vantaggio di essere in una posizione molto comoda, subito ai piedi della città fortificata di Carcassonne (dalla finestra del bagno sembra di toccare le torri), e di poter parcheggiare la macchina comodamente. Tuttavia la struttura ha sicuramente visto tempi migliori. Si tratta di miniappartamenti all'interno di un palazzo situato nella città bassa di Carcassonne. All'arrivo sembra un posto del tutto abbandonato..persiane e cancello arrugginiti e scrostati, scale ammaccate...l'appartamento ha una zona giorno con tavolo e cucinino, un salottino con divano letto doppio, camera matrimoniale e bagno piuttosto grande. Il divano letto era da fare, con le lenzuola messe sotto alla struttura quindi un po' polverose e non stirate. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo non è male visto il costo delle camere in questa turistica città, quindi si può chiudere un occhio su qualche aspetto. Tutto sommato la stanza era pulita. Se lo scegliete ricordatevi di fissare l'appuntamento per il check in altrimenti dovrete telefonare e aspettare un po' che vengano a portarvi le chiavi.
