If I could give it O stars I would. I had a highly disappointing experience at the Best Western Plus Cannes, which I would unfortunately rate as the worst hotel I've ever visited. The room I booked was advertised with air conditioning, yet the temperature soared to 80 degrees Fahrenheit (26 degrees Celsius), making it extremely uncomfortable. Despite the unbearable heat, the staff was unhelpful and outright refused to offer any meaningful accommodation or a refund. Upon check-in, I was initially offered a room overlooking the atrium where guests have breakfast, which I refused due to privacy concerns. The response from the manager, Arnaud, was incredibly unprofessional, informing me that I was out of luck and even threatening to call the police over the room dispute. The rooms were not only small but also poorly decorated. Not to mention the room I was assigned #227 had an awful bathroom door. The door slammed shut and the door knob smashed me in the arm leaving a severe black and blue mark (see attached Photo). Despite its prime location, the overall experience was a nightmare. The hotel itself felt outdated and poorly maintained, with a dark, unwelcoming lobby that resembled a dungeon, and a pool that looked nothing like the advertised photos. I am suing this hotel and will find a way to get my money back! If they cant pay me back, then they can pay for the litigation costs which will be well over the $500 I am deserved as a refund. It's great to have over 100 lawyer friends in all different countries! Game on Best Western Cannes! You will pay!!!!

I cannot understand some of the negative reviews left for this hotel! The room was not large, but it was clean, fit for purpose, and I did not come to Cannes to sit in my room! The staff are all absolutely amazing, friendly, and accommodating. The hotel is quirky, who wants a hotel that looks like every other hotel? Location fantastic, less than 5 minutes from the station, less than 10 minutes to the centre of Cannes. Lovely rooftop pool area. Yes, the lift is small, was this an issue, no! LOVED THIS HOTEL, and would definitely stay again when I visit Cannes. It is great value for money.

Amazing stay. (Had two rooms as travelled with elderly parents ) Great location (although access from the town/beach side is via an underpass at the front of the rail station and there are many steps - there are lifts at each end of the underpass , however one was out of service during our stay) Hotel is immaculately clean - lovely, helpful staff. The pool was a welcome bonus - and was generally quiet. Had a room with a nice size balcony. Bed was very comfy and the room a decent size. Lifts are small but efficient. On check out we were given a really lovely hand made soap and hand wipes - a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. A big thank you to the hotel team for making our stay enjoyable.

Friendly staff, nice clean room with the option for daily cleaning/new towels. Very close to Cannes station and direct link via bus to Nice Airport nearby. Only one iron for the whole hotel which you will need to go to the iron room for. Charged 4 euros for a tea bag as not replenished per night?

I stayed for 3 nights with my mum, my friend and her mum. Staff - very pleasant and helpful staff, can be a bit dithery at times with lots of paper shuffling. Responded well to all our questions and requests, they were accommodating and polite. Facilities - roof top pool is very nice, lovely views, was not overly busy at any point during our stay. You have to go to the ground floor bar if you want to take a drink to the pool in a paper cup or bring your own, no glass. It’s also up a spiral marble staircase so if you are unsure on your feet it’s probably not for you. THERE IS NO SPA! it has been closed since Covid and is a complete disgrace that they still advertise it. Room facilities are fine, coffee machine in the room but only espresso size cups, you need to go to the breakfast room to get a decent size white coffee. The bar only does black coffee. There is a sun terrace outside the breakfast area, we did not have breakfast but I wouldn’t have been nice to sit and have a drink there, this was not offered as an option. Too was very clean and cleaned each day. Location - short walk (6-7mins) down to the front. You need to go under the subway to get to the other side of the main road and there is a lift if needed.

We weren't in our hotel room for too long; just overnight. We had taken the train from Paris, in the aft., so by the time we got settled in our room, it was later pm. The room was clean and comfortable. We were tired from walking/pulling luggage from the train station, and then, when we went to go into our room, they hydro wasn't working, and then we noticed the hall lights weren't working either. The front desk staff member came up, checked things in the room like we did, no go, then he went and got keys for another room to take us to, to stay in. Hall lights all of a sudden came on, when he came up, but at other room, lights didn't work also. Weird, he thought. Then hubby realized, it might be like cruise ships, where you have to use key card, to input into a wall slot, to make hydro come on! When one goes to leave their room, once the card is extracted from slot in wall, the hydro goes off. It's an eco thing, to save people leaving any hydro on, like lights, as they have the key card with them when they leave, to get back into room. The front desk fellow, didn't know anything about this, never heard of such a thing, as he was a new employee!! Whomever trained him...bad!! So hall lights worked, as soon as someone goes into the hall. We hadn't stepped out of our room, to check hallway. Re. the breakfast room, it was lovely. The ambience was nice, with tables with white table cloths, and nice china settings. There was enough choice of food and drinks, and hubby even tried the champagne! We had been a bit afraid, the night before in the dark, pulling all our luggage to the hotel, with some weirdos around!

I met a younger lady who worked typically whenever I would leave the hotel, she had blonde hair and was extremely helpful with guiding me around as well as being extremely accommodating. Thank you for the team to making my stay memorable!

Decent place to stay close to Cannes main attractions 5 minute walking distance , right opposite train station, small rooms and corridors dark and smelled like sewerage often , breakfast was slow filling up after people had taken from buffet incurred a charge for omelette even though paid b&b and the buffet wasn’t refilling so bit of a cheek

Quirky Hotel in a good location near to everything. 5 min walk to Cannes. 2 min walk to train station. We were greeted by Aileen who was friendly and great throughout our stay - they lent us a travel adaptor too. Very clean, modern, spacious room. Rooftop pool was super nice with views of the sea. Would recommend and stay here again if we visit the area again :)
