Not a great experience Family arrived at 11.30pm after a long day at work/ school . The room was not ready. The children 5 & 7 were very tired so I went back to reception to ask if the two beds could be made up asap. He laughed and said , “ you’ve not looked “ “ the bed pulls out and your bedding is there and in the wardrobe. To do this I had to move a very heavy table and then I couldn’t get the bed up off the floor so one child had a very uncomfortable night . The cleaner set it up properly the next morning . 1. short on staff 2. Limited food/ drinks . Several times I was told not possible , non left 3. Queue at the bar was too big for us to stand in ! 4. Staff were doing their best but it became quite difficult for them to keep up with the number of people wanting drinks and food at lunchtime in the pol restaurant. 5. Swim up bar closed at poolside 6. I was told no pastries at breakfast only for them to arrive as I was leaving ( Tuesday & Wednesday ) 7. Shower in our room was very slippy getting in / out due to the uneven surface of two steps 8. Bedding. Bottom sheet was uncomfortable due to bits / bobbing We have been to many Zafiro hotels and we like the brand but my advice is to give this one a miss. It’s supposed to be 4* plus but it isn’t They need to reflect the fact they are running the hotel down prior to winter closure in the price . I wasn’t the only unhappy customer in October . We left on the Wednesday instead of staying until the Saturday. Found a nice 4* in Palma

Well, what can I say! The hospitality at Zafiro was excellent. Upon arriving at 3am we were greeted at the desk by a happy gentleman who took a lot of time to explain to us the necessities. The room was clean, the air con worked great, the balcony was lovely and provided some nice seclusion in an evening. The entertainment was brilliant for both children and adults. Our daughter was over the moon when she won an Yzzy puppet in the bingo, the wife was equally overjoyed with her bottle of wine! The food in the buffet was good, perhaps we attended a little late as some of the dishes appeared to be running low. There was a large selection and we all found something that we enjoyed! Thank you for such a brilliant experience.

We have just returned from 2 weeks at this fantastic hotel as a family of four with our four year old twins. This hotel was outstanding in almost every respect and I’d have no hesitation in highly recommending it. It was probably one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in with a dedicated, large team cleaning all areas daily. The animation team were a particular highlight - very engaging, happy and full of energy - exactly what four year old twins need! The kids club, plentiful animation team led games as well as having its own play park complete with bouncy castle and football/tennis area combined to offer the ideal amenities for young families. We stayed all inclusive and the selection and variety of food was great. The hotel even left a nice bottle of red wine in the room on my birthday. If I had any feedback I’d say a heated pool to help counter the occasional overcast days when the temp drops a few degrees would be beneficial. We definitely intend to return soon.

This resort is as described by Jet2 and other UK travel agents. It was perfect for us ok our first holiday abroad with our 2 year old. We took half board plus which worked better for us in terms of value for money. The buffet restaurants were fine. A good variety of food and always plenty of options. As you might expect for September, it was full of pre school aged children so perhaps something to think about if you're not in that boat. We had one night in the a la carte restaurant and that was good and lunch at the pool bar which was tasty. There are so many pools and loungers that these areas never seemed crowded. There were sometimes fewer options around the splash pool but we always got a sun bed. The slides and play equipment possibly are starting to look a little tired but this may be an end of season thing that gets rectified. As other people mention the temperature of the pools is a bit off putting for younger children but all in all these facilities are a big plus. Our daughter was too young to do most of the kids' entertainment but she loved the mini disco and meeting the characters. You could tell the kids really did enjoy the entertainment team's Work as they were always surrounded by their little fans. All staff we came across were helpful and the resort was really clean. The rooms being an apartment style was a big plus and ours was really clean. They are not particularly modern in style but this was fine. The only reason I possible won't return is the slightly too long transfer time for us but the actual hotel was spot on!

This is our 3rd time visiting this hotel and we can’t fault it! We stayed for 9 nights with our 4yr old and 2yr old. We got a garden view room and this was perfect for us! The food was fantastic as usual. So much choice. You would really struggle to not find something to suit you. We ate at the buffet restaurant every night and we ate at the pool bar every lunch. Great service! Special mention to Manuel who has been here every time we have visited and makes such a fuss over the kids- he’s fantastic. Our 4 yr old used the kids club every day and the animation team were amazing with her! Cannot recommend them enough. Special thanks to Pepe, marta, valentina, aneta and Carlos. Everyone was truly wonderful and they work very hard. Our kids loved them all! They actually remembered us from visiting in May and were delighted to see the kids again! The pools are great, we never struggled for a sun-bed- even in the middle of the day there was plenty available. Lots of pools and lots of slides so something for everyone. Will definitely be back for a 4th trip!

I’ll let you read the other very extensive reviews about facilities etc. they are far more thorough than me. My adult daughter and i stayed from late Aug to early Sept, we had an excellent time. Yes the room could do with a freshen up but you just sleep there right! We never had an issue with loungers, always found some thing scrummy to eat, we are both diabetic. Didn't suffer ques anywhere, at bars or food. A la carte was fantastic we had beef and chicken skewers. Obviously i can’t comment on kids facilities but they all seemed to be having fun. I had an air conditioning issue which was sorted within minutes. There was another issue that the hotel is looking into but its nothing to do with them or their staff. Special mention to Daniel at pool bsr who bothered to learn my name! Don’t be getting any ideas, im ols enough to be his gran. Mossies are a problem, and the floors are deadly when wet no matter what your age. I would go back no problem

Really great hotel and location. Only a 15min walk to beach and shops. We were all inclusive, hotel was amazing, pools are great, always managed to get sun beds. Food was great. Only thing about the food is during the day between meals the only 'snack' available is ice cream. Some crisps, nuts or something would of been nice. But that hasn't put me off staying at a Zafiro again.

This resort is anything but 4 star! Shouldn’t even be one, basic hygiene standards are far from being met! Pools are an absolutely freezing! Save yourself 600 quid and don’t upgrade to a swim up room. Rusty metal splinters ain’t nice. If you want a family holiday in a run down dump then this is the place for you!

We stayed for 10nights as a family of 4. The hotel is big with 8 pools. Each block has a pool next it but then the main pool in the middle. The hotel is spotless around the hotel. The rooms are not as dated as it’s made out. We had a penthouse roof top which was fab. If you wanted to escape the chaos you could. The entertainment team are brilliant. All inclusive was good but wouldn’t say amazing. You can eat at the bistro bar which u order off a menu. Or buffet restaurant. The food was amazing first 5days then pretty much went down hill. There is no kids section for food. So my little one ended up eating pasta n pizza everyday. There is no music around the pool area. I don’t expect it to be blasting but would have been nice to have back ground music instead you can just hear pure chaos. The entertainment team would come to main pool put music on get everyone up in the spirit but the moment they finished the atmosphere went dead as music is switched off. They do the running mat in the pool everyday and water aerobics. No water polo or other activities in the pool. So I wouldn’t say it’s 4* but it’s more than a 3* I did really enjoy it and so did the kid only purely because of the entertainment team. I’m also unsure if it was worth what we paid. The La carte was really nice. It’s at the bistro. They set the tables nice and champagne arrival it was a nice touch. The bar staff are very attentive and work really hard. We went just before may half term and it got busy towards the end. So I honestly couldn’t imagine in high season. Ppl saying pools are chilly but everyone is different I personally don’t think they was unbearable I brought wet suits for the kids n they didn’t wear them. The splash area for the little ones I stopped using because I noticed more n more kids with chicken pox. Which they didn’t have on arrival. One parent tried to pass it off as mozzy bites her little girl was covered. Just thought it was a bit naughty. Overall the holiday was good this isn’t a good or bad review just honest. But again everyone has a different opinion. Spoke to others at the hotel that also said the same about the music and their kids just eating pasta. And that there expectations was higher.

Friendly staff and fun entertainment for the kids. But rooms and food was poor quality. The whole place just needs a good renovation. Especially the rooms. And they need to fix things such as broken tiles and airco wasn’t cooling down our room

Nice staff, a good swimming pool (little bit cold), a 10 minute walk to the sea. The food in the restaurant was great. We have 2 gluten-free persons in our family, there were a lot of options. We asked to make a GF pizza and pasta, they made it with love. We wished more gluten-free fresh food, like pancakes etc. They gave us a lot of GF cookies, bread and cakes. The rooms were O.K. Best of the stay: all the really nice cocktails! We have had them all :-)

A very good family orientated resort. Excellent facilities to keep the younger family members engaged all week. Good location with local interests and public transport to other towns/cities.

Staff were grumpy, rooms were not clean even after the cleaners had been, buffet food was below standard although a good choice. How can you mess up scrambled egg (ask the lady on the egg station, she's an expert at it). The hotel is generally run down. The pool bar food was great, this then turned into the Al a carte restaurant in the evening which again made great food. Shame the rest of the hotel can't meet their high standards.

Had a great week away during the October half term. The stay was great from start to finish. Suite was spacious and clean, pool was perfect for our 9 year old, entire grounds were kept really clean, staff go above and beyond. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone especially families it was a perfect stay
