We really enjoyed our stay at O Cruceiro in Caldas de Reis. The staff at the front desk welcomed us warmly and efficiently. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The shower was hot. The breakfast buffet was filling and substantial, especially appreciated as we then set off to walk to Santiago de Compostela. The hotel is an easy walk to the center of town, the main church, the river walk and the botanical gardens.

The hotel was located three or four minutes from the centre of town, but only two minutes off the Camino route on an extremely busy road. Happy to report that the wifi reception is perfect given previous negative reviews. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast next morning was buffet-style and extremely plentiful with all the usual items.

Hotel can be busy and therefore a little noisy but good wifi and most importantly very nice staff who were very helpful and nothing was a bother either last thing at night or first thing in the morning. Breakfast was fine and good for GF. A good Camino stop.

My wife & I stayed for 1 night on the Portuguese Camino. It is located centrally and caters primarily for pilgrims on the walk. Room was ok and clean. We had our evening meal in the bar but it wasn't great. Glad we had only 1 night here.

Clean, comfortable room, bathroom had excellent hot water and water pressure. Charming hosts, delicious breakfast. Industrial washing machine and large balcony with huge clothesline and clothespins. Many common areas available to relax in socially distant manner. Judging from the amount of luggage in the lobby and the number of breakfast places set, a large group had booked in, but we never encountered them.

Wir waren als Pilger unterwegs. und für ein" Ein Sterne Haus" hat es allemal 5 Sterne für das Zimmer und den Service verdient! Wir haben uns hier tatsächlich wohl gefühlt, hatten genug Platz, und ein wirklich Gutes Frühstück! Caldas de Reis ist nun kein Glücksfall für die Erde. Hier schläft man als Pilger und zieht weiter! Es sei denn: Man geht im Restaurante Termas essen.

El alojamiento muy bien,la recepción fenomenal,nos trataron muy bien .el unico problema,que no lo hubo fue la barman es una despota que no sabe o no quiere tratar bien a los clientes.No se puede contratar a una trabajadora como ella a mi me trato con muy mala educación, ni si quiera te mira a la cara y no solo me pasó a mi.Una pena porque el hotel genial

Este hotel es una excelente opción para aquellos que estén realizando el camino de Santiago y necesiten un lugar cómodo y acogedor para descansar. La calidad de la comida en la cafetería, junto con las comodidades básicas de las habitaciones, hacen que nuestra experiencia haya sido muy satisfactoria.

Hotel funcional y básico, con todo lo que se necesita para pasar una noche del camino de Santiago. Cama comoda, habitación y baño amplios. Dispone de lavadoras y secadoras para hacer la colada después de varias etapas del camino. Totalmente recomendable.
