Good Chinese restaurant - nice food and the price is reasonable. The shower room window is terrible - tall guys can easily peek into the shower area - this makes my female family members very discomfortable!

Out of hours check in process was simple. Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of car parking spaces. Quiet location.

The hotel was about 12 mins walk to the main town centre. Not too bad but can be tiring to go back and forth. Very close to Muddy's Playground and Cafe. Facilities were basic, clean rooms, spacious. Good water pressure. Convenient to have a Chinese restaurant on-site.

Please, please, please include in your brochure/ad that the bathroom is NOT suitable for elderly or even slightly handicapped people. The floor is like a bowl. The shower is inaccessible if you are short because in order to step in, you have to stand back several feet to avoid the incline. Once you're in, because inside is like a bowl too, it would be impossible to get out. May I suggest you at least put handicap rails on the tile side of the opening? Not sure if it would help, but it couldn't hurt. I am 5' tall and have a bad back and I could not get into the shower no matter how hard I tried. The bed was beautiful, but it would be great if you provided a soft pillow as well as the firm ones on the bed. We did not eat there as the breakfast was not actually on site. The front staff were friendly. I would suggest also that if you require guests to smoke on the sidewalk out in front, you should furnish ashtrays as the entrance was littered with cigarette butts and could prove to be a fire danger if someone isn't careful. Good location 20 minute walk to cairns city. Very out dated room and kettle was dirty. Got woken up by maintenance on the last morning at 8am with them drilling outside our room. Our fault for not checking but the main door is just a sliding glass door. Didn’t feel very safe

Rooms were fine. Security could be better as anyone can drive or walk on to the property anytime. They charge you $3 for a small bottle of water which they should give it to you for free, nothing wrong with the tap water. Restaurant out front was good also. Free wifi, works well.

We have stayed here 2 times now As this is an old school motel it suits us as we only put our heads down to sleep clean and tidy

The room is spacious and has everything you needed. Enough clothes hangers，shampoo and conditioner etc. a lot of parking spots. A good restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Located in city center. Close to the waterfront and restaurants.

I stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights when I went to Cairns. There was a bus stop right in front of the hotel and it was close to Central, so the location was good. I also wish there was a ventilation fan in the bathroom. It was hot like a sauna during the shower.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the city center. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel. Buses to Palm Cove depart here.

Clean and tidy, complete facilities, and a good location. However, the front desk is not on duty 24 hours a day, which seems to be the case for local express hotels. If you need to store your luggage, it is inconvenient. After 4 o'clock, the front desk will not be able to take it out. If there is a one-day tour on the day of check-out, you need to plan the storage of your luggage carefully. In addition, we booked it for Chinese food, but the Chinese restaurant was closed from Sunday afternoon to Tuesday morning (I can't remember the exact time), so we didn't eat it anyway. It is recommended to indicate the business hours of the Chinese restaurant in the hotel introduction.

The front desk staff are very nice and enthusiastic. However, the hotel is too old. There is no air conditioning. There is a cooler similar to an air conditioner. The sound is relatively loud and the room is relatively dark.

Convenient location, good for business trips and travels

There are ants... everything else is fine! The bathroom is the best! This is the second time I have come to Cairns. I don’t understand why the quilt is just a bed sheet (probably because of the heat)
