"It's an aparthotel; I booked a studio apartment. It's fairly clean, though I don't understand why the bed is a fold-out sofa bed. Regardless, it's more than adequate for one night. We parked on the street right on the corner of the hotel. The location is convenient, a 15-minute walk to the city center. I don't know about the service, because we didn't speak to reception again after checking in. There was no one there when we checked out; in fact, they told us to leave our keys in the designated space."

"This little hotel is more like a Bed & Breakfast! The proprietors are attentive and keep the property immaculate. We ate in the dining room for several meals and it was really good. The rooms were comfortable. Caen is a very special place, easy to navigate and full of charm. The hotel is walking distance to a top notch boulangerie (Bon Ble) and a well-stocked market. I highly recommend getting picnic foods and wander around the city."

"Thank you very much for allowing us to stay at your place. It was absolutely wonderful. The room is spacious and has everything you might need. There is even a small kitchen and a private bathroom. It’s impressive how such a compact space includes everything necessary for a comfortable stay. There is also all the essential kitchenware, as well as towels and anything else you might need. In addition, there is a lounge area where you can sit and relax — it has a very cozy, hotel-like atmosphere. The hotel itself is very convenient, located not far from the city center. It truly made our stay in the city much more enjoyable."

"My friend and I are traveling around France for a couple of weeks. We picked this hotel based on reviews and price. It was a good location to drive to Omaha Beach and the surrounding area. We each had a room with a king size bed, a very large bathroom with a wonderful shower and separate large tub. Free Coffee, tea and water provided in the room and a small refrigerator with snacks and drinks available at a modest price. Beds were very comfortable and room temp was great. Very quiet location and free parking. The best thing was Julia, the front desk staff person. Extraordinary service and assistance with everything we needed including ordering Thai food from a local restaurant because the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. She deserves a GIANT Thank You and a Gold Star! I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to France."

The room was lovely with comfortable a mattress, good linens, Clarins bathroom products and a Dyson hairdryer (I could have left that at home). I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Normandy and is planning to stay in Caen."

"Easy to find ref local transport from the station. I was on a work visit ref local history of Normandy. Room large. Warm. An attached twin. Bathroom was fine somewhat dusty ref radiator. Shower not good. Funny flow and aeration. Ground floor stank of a peculiar smell. Outside ref patio dirty and needs a proper jet wash. Shame as beautiful limestone. Some strange lighting system on the patio. Flashing on and off. Despite me mentioning nothing done. Breakfast fine. Despite constant bleating about environment the coffee was a Nespresso machine. Was foul. Def environmentally inappropriate!!! Staff just sort of dismissed you and wanted your cash. Johnny ? the manager. Seemed to not care less."
