The only rooms worth to sleep in are the most expensive ones (and for that expensive price you have to pay for it, you have much better options on the hotels around this one).
The cheapest hotel rooms are simply holes with around 10 sq2 (not even 22 sq2, as they announce) with a minuscule window to a wall. It is simply terrifying.
I refused to sleep in two rooms when they eventually upgraded me to a bigger room (the ones that worth to sleep in). Even though, these room have plenty of dust and the walls are full ow humidity.
So, be careful when you reserve a room in this hotel.

The location and environment of the hotel are both good. There are restaurants and supermarkets all around, which is very convenient for shopping. It is also very close to Dong Xuan Market and 36 Ancient Street within walking distance! The room is large and does not feel oppressive, and double bathrobes are thoughtfully prepared. It is full of happiness! There was also an episode🥴On the first day of check-in, a power outage occurred. Later, I learned that the breakfast staff used too much electricity, causing a power outage in the entire building. Therefore, I had to find breakfast at my own expense😅🍜Afterwards, the hotel also politely apologized and delivered it. Fruit 🍉🍊 shows sincerity, no problem, happy Christmas 🤗 I would like to come to this hotel again if I have the opportunity, it is economical and not expensive, I recommend it to everyone!

The hotel was cheap and affordable. Don't expect too much though because you'll just get what you paid for. The bunk beds are comfortable and cozy though it would have been better if the stairs leading to the top bunk bed was wider. The staff could speak English and would attend to your needs with urgency. The location is also at the heart of Old Quarter. Attractions are just within the hotel's vicinity. Overall, this place is a good fit for budget traveling!

Solo trip to Hanoi for 4 nights
I took bus 86 from Noi Bai Airport and arrived near the Old Quarter.
The reception was staffed by a beautiful woman wearing an ao dai.
Room 305 has an interior window, but it is decorated with fresh flowers.
The bed is spacious and the bathroom is adequate.
Breakfast is on the 8th floor.
You can also eat at the rooftop bar.
The hospitality of the staff here is amazing.
I requested pho, which was delicious.
Adding passion fruit pulp to yogurt was also excellent.
There is a souvenir shop next to the hotel.
There are price tags, so you can feel at ease. I bought a fan because it was hot.

Cleaning great ! There is a pool very nice, gym inside , good service , very nice people they all worry about the guests.
There are delicious breakfast you can enjoy.

A place where there is a reason why the facilities are wasteful and there are no customers
I stayed at the most expensive place on this trip to Vietnam, but if I had to rate the service and meal, I would give it the lowest score. Doug, it was the worst service out of the 20 local hotels in Vietnam I've been to.
The reason I chose this hotel was because the hotels I stayed at were on holidays, so there were no rooms, and I chose this hotel because it was only a 5-10 minute walk from the central square of Hoan Kiem. There was no one to open the door or carry the bag. It just feels like our motel.
Even on the day of check-out, only the female receptionist at the hotel greets at least, and the bellboy and other people do not care whether the guest leaves or not.
In particular, breakfast, which Koreans consider important, was not good. However, the restaurant facilities and views were really good. Good facilities are not being used too much. Moreover, even though fruits are in season these days, there was no mango at breakfast, only passion fruit.
In a word, the facilities are poor. If the staff's service and breakfast are improved, it is a place where many customers can visit, and the hotel owner should pay more attention.

The hotel is located next to the old town of Hoan Kiem Lake. It is a 3-minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. It is very convenient to walk in the morning and evening. It is within walking distance to St. Joseph's Church/Lounge Prison/Temple of Literature/Historical Museum. It is about 850 meters away from Dong Xuan Market. When buying cashew nuts, the largest price is 200,000 VND per kilogram. Cotton socks are also cheap, with a package of five pairs costing 100,000 VND. The hotel room is spacious and the utensils are high-end. You can order two main dishes + two drinks for breakfast. The portion is sufficient. I recommend the chicken steak and burgers. The hotel can book cars and travel itineraries. We booked a trip to Ninh Binh LIMOSION for 400,000 VND/person.

Location is perfect with most ”things to do” within walking distance. Rooms are quite clean and new. Breakfast buffet spread is decent with salad, bread, hot dishes, pho, juices and other things to choose from. Security is quite helpful even if his English is limited.
One thing i didn't enjoy was, i added more nights and received confirmation from trip. But, the reception said that the rooms was fully booked and they can't see my reservation yet. They did come back with my reservation eventually but, it's not helpful. This happened multiple times, as i extended multiple times. Please take time to check before notifying the guests.
Also it would be great if they can provide umbrella in every room.

You can leave your suitcase when you go to Sapa and come back from Sapa very early in the morning and you can't check in yet, but because you want to continue to Halong Bay, you shower first in the lobby bathroom and have breakfast at the hotel before leaving.

AAnonymous UserGreat location. Walking distance to every local checkout place in the old town. The hotel was full of lovely Vietnamese art pieces. Room was clean, nice swimming pool and the library with a terrace. We enjoyed the stay very much.

It's nice to be here in the weekend as they close the area for traffic and the night market opens. If you check out in the weekend and need a taxi, you'll need to walk a bit. The hotel can arrange a car for you, for 350k, but you can negotiate the price down to 250k-300k.

Room was overall clean and pleasant smelling when first checked-in. Now on the bad - ants slowly started to appear after my first night of stay in the room and toilet. Booked a family room and was indicated it had a courtyard view. But in actual fact, it was the last room on the inner side of the hotel with view of a wall from a tiny window. I didn’t bother drawing the blinds up. There are two fake windows as well. But being at the back of the hotel, it is a quiet room away from the street traffic if that’s what you value. Breakfast was below average - pho wasn’t good for a place where pho originates. Hotel was great in offering packet breakfast for my early flight. However don’t hold high expectations as they are just enough to not go hungry - was interesting how one packet had jam and butter, one packet had only butter, and one packet had nothing for the bread. When checking out, the front desk insisted on me completing my review right there and then with a 10/10 rating and to include his name in the review before I could leave. I have never encountered such insistent request and I believe it might have to do with being rewarded by the hotel management for being named in good reviews? Totally understand it might not be the front desk’s fault if they are following instructions but such insistent requests are a major turn off, especially in the wee hours when I have to catch my flight. Out my 4 trips to Vietnam across the various cities, this is my least liked hotel. There are definitely better hotels in the vicinity at similar price point.

TtravelasiaOld but clean hotel. Lot of local business people staying there. Indoor pool is awesome. Lake view room is nice. Close to the pagoda and a nice cafe called Laika is a 5 minute walk. Bit farfor a walk to the old quarters, but taking a Grab car is easy, cheap and convenient.
One weird thing when we were checking out and waiting for our Grab car, the concierge was trying to check the app to get specific details on our next destination.

叮叮力I stayed one night in this hotel at Ho Noi in June.
I was staying at the 1st floor room, worrying if it would be noisy situating just at the junction road. Things turned out the be very nice and it was all serenity that I had a very good sleep.
I specially love the wood elements in this hotel which I feel really comfy and warm on a rainy night.

GGuest UserThis is a hidden gem in the midst of the old quarter. A part of Hanoi where a myriad of shops selling a huge range of goods exists next to Hanoi's seemingly endless coffee shops. In very European architecture These small shops are bustling throughout the day.
The hotel is nestled comfortably up a side street accessible via both stress, though only one is used by taxis. The staff are extremely friendly and make it their business to ensure the traveller is well looked after.
Rooms are clean and come with a stocked fridge with Beer and soft drinks. The air conditioning is superb and in near 40C heat it is so welcoming. The balcony is large. Almost a second room in itself. Sit on the balcony in the evening during a thunder storm and watch the light show in the night sky...tremendous. With the balcony walls being solid, privacy is guaranteed as is safety...not going to fall off this.
Breakfast is a pleasant mix of western and Asian. Cold cuts or cooked food. Eggs done by the chef to order.
The hotel has a small travel desk so do ask about places to visit. Staff are very knowledgeable.
Top tip: get the GRAB or BE app to book your taxis and avoid cab hailing....the risk of being scammed is very high.
One final thought...not far is Railway Street. I won't spoli it....go and find out what happens. Get a daily timetable of trains. It is an experience.
Highly recommended.
