So, this was our first time at a staffless hotel. Generally, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated how thoughtfully everything is arranged. There still is room for improvement. PROs: 1) Staffless. This can be a PRO as much as a CON. It really feels nice when you feel like the place is your home, you come and go without being looked at by anyone, without unnecessary small talk, etc. Really suitable for introverts :) 2) Attention to details. The place is really thought through. You have your own iron, ironing board, tv (with Netflix), kettle, coffee-maker, tea, coffee capsules, sugar, coffee cups, mugs, wine glasses, water glasses, a couple of welcome snacks, a make-up table, toiletries (though I'll talk about these in the con section), cotton pads and buds, extra tp, a blow-dryer, towels, etc. All the essentials are there (except for bathrobes). 3) Clean The place really feels and is clean. I am usually very cautious about using hotel towels, about sleeping on hotel pillows, etc. This place didn't feel icky even a bit. They care about cleanliness and it shows. 4) Location. No joke, I can't imagine a better location in Bucharest, especially if the goal of your stay is to just relax, walk, bar-hop in Old Town. We had a room with a balcony and you are literally looking at Manuc's Inn from your balcony. It is quiet, though, surprisingly. 5) Beautiful. The place really is so so pretty. They kept the room theme, and even your airconditioner is a picture frame that matches the whole theme, and the ironing board too. Again, nicely thought-through. CONs: 1) Stafless. Yes, this can be a CON as well. Our code wasn't active when we arrived (although we agreed in advance that we arrive earlier and would need to store our baggage before we check-in). We had to call HOLT standing next to the closed doors (it was chilly outside, so we were cold and standing with our luggage trying to call someone to let us in was not the most desired way to begin our stay). The guy we got on the line quickly got us a new code and we got in with no problem after, but it just wasn't a great start. 2) Toiletries. The handsoap was full, but the toiletries in the shower (shampoo, bodywash and conditioner) were almost empty. We had our own, so didn't have to bother anyone. I am sure they would have replenished the liquids if we contacted them, we just didn't need to. However, would be nice if this was taken care of before people check-in, without having to request it during their stay. 3) The iron. It was glitchy and leaking. Again, we weren't attentive enough when reading about the facilities, so we didn't even expect the iron to be there and took our own, so didn't have to contact HOLT. However, there is a chance you are getting a glitchy iron. 4) The contract. You need to sign an electronic contract before you check-in, and that is okay. I just was very cautious about this one point in the contract (I think it was nr 23) that you agree that anybody from HOLT
