Ulasan Ibis Brussels Centre Gare Midi

The staff were not helpful. They refused to lend me wine glass and utensils for use in my room. This was the first time I met with such bad service in a hotel for Mr travel life for over twenty years. The variety of food in buffet breakfast was fair only.

Hotel location is right beside midi train station, lobby looks nice and well-furnished, but the bedroom and toilet furnishing looks old and run. Luggage storage is coin-operated, not free for staying guest.

Convenient location near the station. Check in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highlight was the bar serving a decent selection of Belgian beers at a pretty reasonable price given it being a hotel bar.

I often stay in this hotel because it’s only across the street from the Brussels midi train station which is very convenient for me as I came to Brussels by train. It comes with breakfast and this time they did not even check the room number. The breakfast selection is quite good. They also have locker room for the luggages. To go to the city center, there is tram and metro. It only takes 25 min by walking.

Hotel very near to train station. But room no kettle, need to go down and get hot water. Is ok for transit. But we do hv a good sleep. Breakfast was fine.

It’s in front of Gare Midi but you need to make sure you get out from exit 7. It’s a regular Ibis hotel, it does not change much all over the world. Staff was helpful and kind.

This hotel is comparatively poorer when compared to Ibis Hotel in Glasgow Central. Rooms are quite small and not meant for three pax. Checking in was alright, until when we got to the room. Initially, it looks okay until we notice a few flying insects in the room, which isnt great. No provision of amenities such as toothpaste, toothbrush, kettle or even still water. Thats not all, breakfast was horrible. From online sources, I read it was 15 euros per pax. From the room rates, its 16 euros per pax, and yet I was charged 54 euros for 3 pax. I find the food either cold, bland, or too much salt. Will highly not recommend eating the hotel breakfast. The restaurant beside the hotel isn't great, but its comparably better than the one provided by the hotel. Overall, the stay wasn't great, with an attempt on opening one of our luggages during room service (which also, no doorcard is provided to indicate do not disturb). Would suggest potential travellers to choose alternative hotels and not be lured by its convenient location to Midi station

Excellent hotel right opposite Brussels Midi train station,just what we wanted. Have stayed before and when in Brussels will stay again.

Excellent location and amazing hospitality. Ideal option if you're on a budget.

Right across from the Gare du Midi, but the neighborhood was not safe. Staff was super friendly. Area around the station is very sketchy.

Just a few minutes from central station by walk.
