B&B Saint-Georges -Located in the City Centre of Bruges-

Fabulous B and B, wonderful bedroom, great hosts, lovely location. I would compare this to 4* hotels. Our room - number 2 - had a balcony, tea and coffee making facilities and a fabulous balcony overlooking the back garden. The location was very quiet and just a 15 minute walk to the centre of Bruges.

This is the worst place to stay in all of Europe. The rooms are not at all as pictured on the website. The beds are ancient, lumpy with linen that was not clean. The bathrooms are falling apart. There are no staff on site after 11 in the morning. They purport to have a key box for self check in but no such box exists and communication with them about check in was abysmal. No one answers the phone. They finally responded to a what’s app message sent to them by our taxi driver when we arrived at 845pm. The key to the whole property was left behind a flower pot!! When we finally found our way in we discovered that they did not give us the King Suite that we booked but instead put us up in the attic (two steep staircases) in a small dumpy double. At breakfast (barely adequate) the next morning we had to press the girl in the breakfast room to ask the manager to speak to us. She finally came into the room and we tried to talk with her about our dissatisfaction. She admitted that they gave us the wrong room. We advised that we were checking out and it appeared that she was agreeable at that moment to cancel the remaining 4 nights that we had booked and paid for through ***********. However this has not happened. *********** did answer the phone (Omar) on the evening we checked in and received our complaint but nothing has been done. They have not responded to any of the emails or texts we have sent. It seems to us that *********** is colluding with the property to perpetrate this fraud. We left the property after just 12 hours. So, do not ever book this property and be very careful when dealing with ***********.

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass an der Straße Parken schwierig sei, so dass wir 20 Euro für den Garagenplatz bezahlt haben. Der Parkplatz hinter dem Nebenhaus, mit einem Rollladen Eingang so eng, dass es nur 2cm Freiraum an jeder Seite von Flügelspiegeln gab. Das Zimmer ist in einem recht ungewöhnlichen Stil eingerichtet. Leider hat das verzierte Himmelbett in Zimmer 3 bei jeder Drehung Federn, die knarren. Wir haben sehr schlecht geschlafen. Das Frühstück für 25 Euro pro Person ist sehr spartanisch mit aufgebackenen Brötchen, 1 Ei, etwas Marmelade, 1 Scheibe Käse und 1 Scheibe Schinken, Kaffee lässt sich ggf. nachordern. Das Enttäuschendste erlebten wir bei der Abreise: Wir hatten über *********** gebucht mit der Möglichkeit vor Ort zu bezahlen. Bei der Bezahlung in bar wurde keine Quittung ausgestellt. Es wurde versprochen, dass dieses sofort online erfolge. Bei der Kreditkartenabrechnung, die wir Wochen später erhielten, stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass die Unterkunftskosten auch über die Kreditkarte abgerechnet worden waren. Unsere Versuche mit Maarten Kontakt aufzunehmen und die Doppelbezahlung rückgängig zu machen scheiterten. Bis heute wurden unsere e-Mails komplett ignoriert. Wir warten bis heute auf unser Geld. Deshalb absolute Vorsicht!

Chambre au 1er étage (chambre 3) très bruyante. Bruit des pas de la chambre au dessus. Aucune insonorisation bruit dans les escaliers les murs sont vraiment trop fins Pas de pression dans la douche. WiFi très lent J'avais réservé une place de parking qui au dernier moment n'était plus disponible Déçus du rapport qualité prix
