The rooms are very clean The staff at the reception is very friendly and very welcoming, asked for the same room for my next visit And Mandy, Lisa and Jen did everything possible in order to help Thank you to all For making my stay as pleasant as possible

Stayed Saturday night into Sunday morning. Was in the ‘old’ building, which meant older room. Not a huge problem, but no HDMI for the TV, and no USB-C charging ports. Two main issues with the stay. 1. The sink didn’t drain away for about 20 minutes after you used it. This means brushing your teeth, having a shave, washing your hands was a chore, and every time you turned on the tap, the water would immediately back up. Hard to clean and get rid of detritus. 2. Early on Sunday morning (I had a few bevs the night before, could have done with a lie-in truth be told) the fire alarm went off for about 5 minutes. After finding suitable attire to leave what could have been a burning building, turned out it was a false alarm. Yet it took a good 2 minutes after hearing from reception it was a false alarm for it to be turned off. That was me up and awake and in a bad mood all day. Thanks Premier Inn…

Premier Inn prides themselves on a good nights sleep but I didn't get one. The hotel was noisy and I was woken a few times throughout the night so I didn't sleep well at all. We checked into the hotel in the evening and the receptionist asked us if we have a booked a table for breakfast at the time of booking. We were not made aware at the time of booking that we needed to make a reservation for breakfast so advised that I had not made a reservation. The receptionist asked if I wanted a table and I advised I required a table at 7am. I had booked and paid for a breakfast already but I was told because there was a swimming competition on there was no availability at that time and the earliest time was past 8am. This was no good for us as we were heading to the swimming competition at 7.20 no alternative solution was offered other than sorry its not really my problem go to McDonalds. I found this really un-useful and not great for customer service for your brand. We did try the breakfast hall in the morning but after waiting quite a while we had to leave as needed to get to the swimming competition. It seems to be if you know you have excess because of some sort of competition you could better prepare yourselves for it instead of turning people away. Why couldn't take out be offered for open breakfast earlier to accommodate the demand. I found the whole stay thoroughly disappointing and a complete waste of money. We left tired and hungry and without a refund for not having any breakfast. I won't be staying again

Very poor night's sleep due to the banging door at the entrance to the corridor and we could hear the person in the next room snoring. Two 'stars' due to the fact that the room was clean and the bed mattress comfy although pillows were lumpy and hard.

As a disabled customer I found the corridor narrow and doors not easy to operate from mobility scooter the door to reception is all manual no assistance available. The rooms are ok but again difficult to access bathroom when using mobility scooter would be ok for wheelchairs though

Oh my god. This has to be the worst premier inn we have stayed in. Shouty woman in reception, checked us in to a room reminiscent of the 70s. No air conditioning, tatty, noise from people above, no spare pillows just one each. Premier inn pub next door is dreadful, we went in for food but didn't eat there - kids running the place and extremely dirty, glasses, plates, just left on tables, dirty floors, and very much a locals drinking spot. Went to reception to be told all premier inns are the same - no they're not, and we have stayed in a few - and then told you get what you pay for. Charming. Then told that premier inn won't spend money on refurbishing, although they have done the hotel next door - what ? Anyway, don't expect a usual premier inn, it's a premier inn from the 70s with female Basil Fawlty on reception 😀
