The entire stay was wonderful, from the warm welcome we received the moment we stepped into the hotel, until our goodbyes at the end. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were comfy with high quality linens and lovely pillows. The breakfast was outstanding and yet again, the service was excellent. It is minutes away from Brighton Pier, has easy access to restaurants as is positioned right by the lanes which are a shoppers dream. The next trip has already been planned!

Have stayed at this hotel a few times over the last few years. You know what you are getting, comfy beds & a good breakfast! I wanted to give a special shout out to Diego, on reception who met us with a warm welcome and was super helpful during our stay. Thanks Diego :-) Other areas that could be improved, robes in the bedroom/ slippers and a turn down service/ refresh of tea trays.

When we first arrived we were greeted with friendly staff and the hotel looked lovely. Unfortunately this is where the positives ended. We went to our room to find it was a disabled room, which wouldn’t have been an issue apart from the fact it meant the sink was very low making it hard to was your face and the shower curtain was filthy. I was very surprised by how poor the decoration of the room was for such a lovely hotel and considering the price. The paint was marked on every wall, peeling off, stained bed sheets. We were very disappointed. During the night we were woken quite a few times by people coming through the outside door, it slammed shut and was extremely loud. Would benefit from having a soft close. Breakfast the next day was lovely, but we were left feeling very disappointed with the state of the room we were given. If you’re looking for a luxury weekend away like we were I would avoid.

Had a lovely stay at Hotel Du Vin, the staff were friendly & efficient, my room was gorgeously decorated and cleanliness was superb. The amenities in the room were spot on and the L'Occitane products in the bathroom were a joy to use. The bed was luxurious and I didn't want to get up in the morning The whole stay was finished off with an excellent breakfast which was was continental buffet style and served cooked breakfast which arrived fast. Overall 5 out of 5 and next time I am visiting Brighton it will be my first choice Hotel

Stayed a few times in the past, was a treat for my partner. Paid £313 for a mid week night stay with 2 course meal and breakfast. I paid to upgrade to a suite. Staff were lovely as always and a shout out to Toby who made the most amazing cocktails. Unfortunately there was drilling in the street outside my window til 3am, I did not sleep due to the noise. This is not the hotels fault. I did call 4 x to reception for ear plugs but no answer and none in the room. The rooms are looking run down. Carpets have stains, the shower leaks through the doors and pours out into the room. We used 2 towels to prevent damaging the carpet, we couldn’t enjoy the shower due to this. There’s heavy amounts of sealant used to plug up to bathroom, this looks unsightly. Shower heads had thick dust in them. The room needs a deep clean, it didn’t feel clean. The mattress was in need of replacement, my side had a huge dip and felt like I was sleeping on wood. It was very lumpy. Overall I had a dreadful nights sleep, I came home and went to my own bed! For £313 I feel very disappointed, this room was meant to be the upgrade. This was a special stay which cost a lot of money.I’m unlikely to return back to this hotel. I fully understand the noise outside is beyond their control but the room and comfort was not to the standard I was expecting.

Loved my stay. Room and bed very comfortable. All Staff lovely, especially the young lad on reception. He made my stay so enjoyable. Very friendly, smart and nothing to much trouble. My room was a long way up and he carried my bags up and when i left came and got them for me. If you stay there remember there is no lift so make staff aware if you struggle with stairs and they will bare that in mind when you book.your room.

I am so so grateful for the lovely Becky at reception and the team at hotel du vin. I left a personal and very sentimental possession at the hotel for 6 months (I only realised I left it there after that long silly me) and the hotel kept it safe for me the entire time. They were very helpful in locating it ands returned it to me.

The staff, front of house and bar staff, were lovely. We requested th change rooms as the first room offered to us had no daylight. This was sorted swiftly. The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to everything. No complaints really!!!
