Brighton House

My hotel rooms were booked months ago but the hotel inexplicably cancelled my rooms with no communication, no reason, nothing whatsoever. In the meantime hotels have become so much more expensive, so am significantly out of pocket. It was extremely disappointing and caused unnecessary stressful.

We'll be back to this conveniently-sited, quiet and welcoming hotel in the stunning Regency Square. It's got plenty of old-world stately character without any of the garish glitziness of the larger places on the front, and the room was comfortable with a view of the square and sea, and even a little balcony. The breakfast was the very best kind of continental breakfast, with ham and smoked fish, and eggs and a great assortment of cheeses, and bread and croissants with a plethoric tray of jams and marmalades, and lovely coffee. The staff are friendly and charming, and we'd return any day.

We had a lovely stay. Great location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our large room with tea, coffee and a tv ( not that we used it) was clean and tidy, but a little tired. The continental breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice. We will be back.

We were visiting Brighton, attending a flamenco show in nearby Old Market Theatre. Brighton House is wonderfully positioned in an attractive square and is close to many of the bars and restaurants in Brighton. We were welcomed by the receptionist who checked us in and kindly organised car parking for us. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed; various teas and coffee, a tv and fan. The bathroom was also clean and modern with a good shower! A good night’s sleep was followed by a wonderful and varied breakfast with an extremely helpful and friendly hostess. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We only stayed one night, but would definitely stay here another time if in Brighton again. Thank you!

Lovely, well kept guest house in a perfect location. Quiet room. No noise from the city. The room was lovely, well equipped with variety of hot drink selection, iron, hairdryer and super warm blankets to go in the bed. Thermostatic rads and windows that opened (not to be taken for granted in hotels now days). Super friendly and helpful host and really good continental breakfast including wonderful cheese selection and homemade yoghurt. Will definitely stay here again.

Brighton House in Regency Square is a lovely place to stay. It's in a great location - close to everything including the seafront, the i360, shops, restaurants, bars & clubs - as well as The Brighton Centre. We have stayed at Brighton House numerous times over the years and we always receive a warm and friendly welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They are located on several levels (there is no lift). Some rooms look out to the square and down to seafront. Some rooms look out to the rear of the building. We had one of these rooms (number 35) which is up 1 flight of stairs. It is very spacious and quiet - and with a very comfortable 4 poster bed. An excellent continental buffet breakfast is on offer - with a wide range of freshly prepared fruit, yogurts, fruit juices, fish, meat, bread products, local cheese, etc. We always use Regency Secure Parking when we stay at Brighton House because it is a very reasonable price and just a short walk away.
