I rarely give a poor review, however this hotel was way below expectations in several areas. First, the water in the shower pressure was awesome. However, the water temperature was barely above cold, as in not even luke warm water temperature. Second, the hotel was not clean. There were grapes and trash in the hallways that remained for both nights of my stay. Third, the registration staff was cold and not at all friendly. Parking is horrible and there were 2 elevators non-functioning at peak check out time. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

The check in line was long, but moved quickly and was easy when we reached the counter. All interactions with hotel staff were positive. The room was clean and the heat/ac worked as it should. Bathroom seems a bit crowded...the door, when opened, was super close to the toilet.
Everything was enjoyable. Pool was closed some due to inclement weather and was full of high school/student groups other times, so we didn't swim.
The breakfast was the same all 4 days, but was good.
Getting to and from the hotel was easy! Parking lots in the front were usually full, but there was ample parking around the building.
We will stay here again if we are in the area!

Cockroach x 3 times in the bathroom. I bed was so close to the wall, you couldn't walk around it. Sheets on one bed had holes, that your toes went thru. We did not receive the room spec's we booked. The hotel was booked so we were stuck with the room. Our confirmation showed a premium corner view room, not at all what we received. They blamed the mix up on *******. Took 2 hours to get thru check in, told We didn't pay. Again I had to show them proof of payment, ******* was again blamed.

Our room smelled of cigarettes. Stains on the draperies. Coverlet was lumpy. Furniture in the room looked worn out. No alarm clock in the room. We talked to other guests who were not happy and had the same issues. Will not take here again.

It was just ok. The hotel was clean which was a major plus. We all woke with sore necks. I hope they’ll replace their pillows soon. My family had to take cold showers throughout our stay which stinks. Only one staff member was super nice, a gentleman, the other two ladies we dealt with there were ready to go home and not deal with customers. We left a day early.

The positive and negatives: The breakfast (although I had to pay extra, was great. We were there 3 days and enjoyed it. Some variety would have been appreciated. Negative: The room was not ready when promised. We missed and appointment because of that. Your staff didn't seem to care though. The hotel seems like it had its last upgrade in the 1980s. Everything was just old and worn. Our room had two queen beds and the mattresses were horrible. I had to sleep in the middle of my bed to not roll off and my wife woke up with a sore back every day. Service was non-existent. No room service was frustrating, then on checkout day, staff knocked on my door at 9am to see if they could clean the room ! I'm sorry but I'll not stay there again and share the news with all my family and friends.

I was disappointed with our stay at Thousand Hills Hotel. The hotel itself needs to be updated. The shower water was always cold, unless you took a shower at an odd time during the day. Housekeeping was supposed to check the room daily, not necessarily clean daily, but our room was never checked. We did the breakfast buffet every morning and it was a good breakfast, but I think there could be a more…maybe a pancake or waffle bar or fresh fruit. The restaurant in the hotel was really good! The Starbucks on the lower level was a great pickup! I just thought with it being Thousand Hills Hotel it would have been a little better than it was and was just disappointed that we could have stayed somewhere cheaper for better.

Hotel is located in a great location. The hotel is extremely busy due the size of the hotel. If you pay extra for breakfast, give yourself enough time due the amount of people. Rooms were clean. There’s nothing special about this hotel. Everything in hotel is outdated. The exception would be the staff. They’re all amazing. Checking in, plan on waiting if checkin between 3-5pm. Checking out is a complete nightmare. With everyone checking out at the same time, there are not enough elevators for the amount of people. At one point people were waiting over 20 minutes to get their families and luggage on the elevator to go down. I was on the 6th floor and had to take the stairs several times to take luggage down. Parking is also a nightmare. With limited entry to hotel makes parking difficult to park close to entry. The hotel cleaning crews were waiting hours to go from floor to floor with their carts.

We had a great stay. Upon arrival, the staff were nice and explained things well. We loved the indoor pool. The only issue was the water was only warm for showers, but that wasn’t a deal breaker. We will return.
