"The hotel has beautiful water. The room was okay, but we found two cockroaches. It lacks a spa and hot springs. The staff are friendly, but there was a mix-up when paying for two cocktails at the bar with cash, as they didn't give us our change back and we had to ask for it. They couldn't offer us a late check-out, which slightly marred our honeymoon. You have to leave the room by 11 AM. Everything else was fine; on the first day, we felt very welcomed and happy, they made us feel special, but our experience gradually declined. We are considering whether to return to this chain or try others."

"Even when it rained continuously and we couldn't go outside, they always greeted us with a smile and answered our questions sincerely whenever possible. We arrived late at night, so we thought we wouldn't get a shell lei, but we were happy to receive one on our way out. While we were waiting for the rain to stop in the lobby, they handed us a mango and asked, "Do you like mangoes? Here you go," which was a nice touch.
