St Leonards Vineyard Cottages

The St Leonards Vineyard Cottages are truly a unique and unforgettable experience. We stayed in The Stables, an adorable cottage nestled on a working farm, in the middle of a vineyard. Sharon and Jason are incredible hosts who made our experience spectacular. From their wonderful (and spot on) recommendations to their incredible breakfast catering (including fresh eggs from their hens) to their ongoing care and check-ins, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We even got to pick fruits and vegetables from their garden, feed their hens, and make friends with their sheep. It was the perfect place to return to each evening and felt like our own little slice of heaven. This is definitely a place we will return to one day. ❤️

We loved our stay in The Stables at St Leonard’s Vineyard Cottages. Our cottage was immaculate, beautifully and comfortably furnished and so peaceful. We enjoyed petting the deer and sheep and helping ourselves to peaches from the trees. The hosts Sharon and Jason are very friendly and helpful. We bought steak and salad from them for one of our evening meals and some delicious wine. They also make a fabulous cheeseboard. We booked bikes through Explore Marlborough who picked us up from the cottages and delivered us and our wine back at the end of the day (having collected our wine from the vineyards so we didn’t have to cycle around with it). Views over neighbouring vineyards are gorgeous. And there is a hot tub and pool although the weather was a little chilly when we were there so we didn’t use them. As autumn had arrived a little early we made good use of the very efficient wood burning stoves. We really wished we could have spent more time here.

Cozy cottage located close to Blenheim in the northern area of New Zealand’s South Island did not disappoint. Cute interior with air conditioning (and pot bellied stove if the weather turned cold) had everything we needed for a two night stay. A living area with a table for dining with a separate bedroom. The room had a comfortable bed with quality linens and was dark for good sleeping. The breakfast was delicious with fresh bread and jam for toast, fresh eggs, and orange juice. For dinner , Linda offered us a prepared meal (for purchase) that we ordered that was high quality and tasty. We highly recommend St Vineyard Cottages!

We couldn't have enjoyed our time in Blenheim any more thanks to the fine accommodation and wonderful hosting from Sharon & Jason. From their communications before arriving, throughout our stay to our departure, nothing was a problem. The breakfast provisions were both delicious and regularly topped up. Room servicing was discrete, the facilities were comfortable, private and immaculately presented. We also enjoyed cooling off in the swimming pool, relaxing in the spa pool (jacuzzi) and wandering around the property collecting fresh fruit and feeding the friendly sheep.

Everything about this cottage is lovely. It is a veritable Garden of Eden. Bed. Warm & comfortable Location. Spot on for the wineries Access. Couldn't be easier. - a short taxi ride out of Blenheim Hosts. So kind & welcoming Breakfast eggs butter bread yoghurt cereal juice & marmalade

This is the place to stay when visiting this area! The cottages are beautiful! Equipped with everything you might need during your stay! Sharon and Jason are great hosts and they have paid attention to every detail to make these cottages special! The shower is great! Pressure, temperature, all of it!!! The bed was comfortable! It was wonderful to wake up and only hear the birds singing! We enjoyed making our breakfast with the fresh products that they provided. It was unforgettable to have a glass of wine sitting next to the grape vines! We absolutely loved our stay and we highly recommend this place!
