The Regal Hotel

I've never stayed in the regal but visited sometimes several times a year for many many years to have a drink and usually some good old pub grub. We passed this afternoon and thought we'd pop in Obvious straight away the food options have changed drastically out have gone the hot pot , pies etc and it's now baguettes or pizzas . But times change each to their own we thought , we'll grab a drink and eat elsewhere. My lovely wife took a seat ,which wasn't difficult as it's just about as empty as we've ever seen the place and I trotted to the bar. There was a lady being served ,I waited my turn at the same time two regular old geezers came to the bar. The barman finished serving the lady looked directly at me ,I started talking got as far as " a pint of.." at which point one of the old geezers butted in two pints of boddingtons and two vodkas and coke using the barmans name which I've forgotten. The barman didn't miss a beat just straight away started serving these obviously regular old geezers That's fine by me if that's the way the winds blowing these days ,the place is obviously on its **** so you just keep ignoring paying customers Mr barman ,you can write that on your CV when you're on the dole.

a group from our coffee ,morning went for xmas lumch.. the service was good,friendly.. had salmon which was cooked nice,plenty of varied veg...i .started with prawn cocktail and finished with cheese and biscuits, good choice of cheese and the price was good too... so i was happy.

Lovely hotel lovely rooms but do not stay here if you want a nights sleep karaoke down stairs friday and Saturday night the noise after in the street is terrible you mite get to sleep before 2am if your lucky and then 8.15 on a sunday morning there are delivery's would not recommend this hotel if you want a rest

5th time me and mum have stayed here another excellent break the staff are absolutely amazing and couldnt do enough for my mum who is disabled the rooms are good and clean and the breakfast was really good plenty of choice

The hotel is clean smells lovely really friendly staff food was amazing beds were comfy and room was spotlessly clean and well equipped will come back again the most welcoming reception staff and the cleaners were also very helpfull

The regal hotel in cleveleys should be closed down its disgusting people are not nice, i stayed there for 3 nights while i was there i used the outdoor smoking area downstairs i was there Thursday night i spoke to a lovely gey man lovely man and this nasty man i think is name was john the staff new him anyway he went in my cigarette packet only one left and took it out and i said do you mind im disabled cant get to the shop this awful man said here he put £10.00 on the table and said buy some f...... More fags than he called me a c.... And a b...... I was upset and the women behind the bar went to him and started laughing with him and is friends she was very loud f..... Ing this and f...... Ing that i just got up and the lovely man i was talking to i had to leave, and this man who is called john had to women they only looked like 15 and 16 year olds they were drinking alcohol so i went up stairs to my room crying next morning the was a young women in the bar when i went downstairs behind the bar she was so lovely i explaned what went on she said did uou report it and i said no and the young women said you need to report it which i did the people who i reported it to didnt careless. And the food is disgusting. The regal hotel should be closed down and i will make sure its closed down
