Premier Inn Blackpool (North Pier)

We stayed two nights in a standard room with a view in April 2025. First the positive - the staff were all friendly, helpful and ready to try and sort any problems. Now the negatives. PUBLIC AREAS This hotel has five floors and is served by three lifts - if which only one was working. Apparently this has been the case for some time and it led to more waiting for the lift than is acceptable. The gents toilet adjacent to the restaurant has two cubicles. Both had broken locks meaning that you could not lock the door if you wanted to use the facility. OUR ROOM ON THE FIFTH FLOOR The first time we left the room we had to pull the door multiple times before it would lock. When we turned the duvet down, we discovered a large brown stain on the bottom sheet. This led us to ask for the sheet to be changed and when the staff member brought the sheet replacement up we asked him to look at the door lock. By this time it would not lock at all - rendering the room unsafe. We also asked him to look at flushing the toilet and, like us, he was unable to get it to flush. These failures led to us having to move rooms. We were offered a complimentary breakfast the following day because of these problems.

Stayed in the Premier Inn for a long weekend in Blackpool in Feb. The hotel is just about walking distance from the train station (depending on luggage and weather) and we were able to get an early check-in for a small fee. The hotel is also a short walk from the North Pier and the tram so it's perfect for exploring the city sights. We had a premier room which was well equipped, however since room windows don't open, if anyone takes a shower or bath, the entire room gets a bit steamy. The on-site restaurant does a good cooked breakfast and bar meals throughout the day at a reasonable price. If I find myself in Blackpool again, I'd definitely consider staying again.

We've been to a premier inn before and this one was better than the last, building seems newer, the staff were so helpful and attentive from reception to breakfast staff, even the odd one you meet in the lifts always said hello, good morning. The food at the restaurant was top notch. The beds were comfy, quiet and a Seaview as well. The only drawback was having 1 working lift out of three when we stayed but that was down to work being done.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here .Perfect location and the usual high standards we expect from Premier Inn. We were given room 307 which had a brilliant view of Blackpool Tower .Rooms were clean and comfortable.Really good sound proofing in this hotel didn't hear anything once in room. Breakfast was brilliant with lots of choice and cooked breakfast hot ! Staff happily kept our cases as we didn't leave Blackpool till evening. Wonderful stay will return here next visit.

First on arrival we got there 15 mins early so we asked if it was possible to check in the receptionist was not friendly and said you must pay £15 or wait till 3 pm and that was fine if that was the rule that everyone follows but the truth is I visited many premier inn hotel in Manchester,Leeds ,wales and everywhere and they always let you check in without giving you an attitude .I booked Premier plus room and I hoped it would be different from the standard room but I was very disappointed as it was smaller, it had a coffee machine and a fridge that is all. They put a small stool by the door which is a health and safety risk as my partner tripped on it when we opened the door of the room! Bathroom an bath taps had scum and the bath wasn't clean. We didn't have a good night sleep either as we kept hearing music till 3:30 Am . All in all not so good experience !

Nice hotel with central location, very handy for all attractions and trams etc. Staff friendly and helpful. Seemed very secure as your room key activated the lift access and corridor access which I thought was good. overall a nice hotel and not overly expensive in comparison to others close by
