"Aside from the front desk seeming a bit understaffed in the evenings, everything else was excellent. The room was spacious, and I really appreciated the separate vanity and shower in the bathroom. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious too."

The Hostel California ★
"This lodging was great and is about the only affordable place in Bishop! The hostel includes private rooms or shared dorms. I stayed in a shared, mixed dorm and it was perfect. The rooms are large and there is plenty of room along with locker space and good heating. The rooms and linens are clean and the staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. The dorms are in a separate building so it is quieter than an regular hostel where most things are in the same building! Shared space includes a lovely yard, living room, dining room and very clean kitchen. Tea and coffee are complimentary and there is a fleet of free bikes available for daily use. I stayed two nights and would't hesitate to stay again if in the area."

"There was a swimming pool, but no hot tub. The pool looked like it hadn't been used in a long time. Otherwise, it was pretty much like a regular motel."

Best Western Bishop Lodge ★★★
"1. Convenient location, located north of Bishop Township, just 100 meters from the famous Sacht Bakery and across the street from KFC and other fast food restaurants, making dining convenient. 2. A grocery store is a 2-minute drive away, making it a convenient base for accessing CA395. 3. Check-in was quick and easy, and the breakfast menu was quite diverse, including omelets, beef burgers, potatoes, bread, homemade muffins, and fruit. 4. The room was quite spacious, but the air conditioner was in the hallway, making some noise."
