Eric and Barbara were the perfect hosts. They were extremely friendly and they made us feel at home. They couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and they went out of their way to make our stay especially pleasant. They were a fountain of knowledge and gave us excellent advice on things to see and where to eat. The service was first class and the facilities were also excellent. The food was outstanding and very plentiful. We have no reservations in strongly recommending them to our family and friends and will certainly stay there again if we return to this part of the country. Located on edge of town next to railway station. Nice hotel with friendly staff. A really nice bar to have drinks in. Breakfast area ticks all the boxes, nicely cooked. . 👍🏻 Rooms are clean with tea/coffee facilities and complimentary bottles of water. The room floor slopes slightly which caused a few 'staggers' Defo go back.

Overall was a good one night stay. But £140 for a double room with a bed you could feel the springs and small very dated room and tiny bathroom I feel was overpriced but I guess it’s the area. The friendliness of the staff made up for the disappointment in the room. Good breakfast.
