There is no service shuttle bus to airport. Room is clean. They will charge you around 40€ for city tax or something. That was so expensive.

Great location, near to many fantastic restaurants at steinplatz. Staff are attentive and helpful with your luggages although the main entrance has steep stairs. Comfortable beds even for twin singles. Probably one of the best locations in Berlin if you need some peace, as it is on the quiet end of the shopping district.

GANZ SCHLECHT! 25 Minuten für Check-In gewartet. Keine Hilfe mit dem Gepäck. Keine Frage nach einer guten Anreise. Fahrstuhl/Lift defekt. Bademäntel und Slipper kamen erst nach telefonischer Nachfrage aufs Zimmer. Im Zimmer hohe Verletzungsgefahr an den Glasplatten auf dem Nachttischschränkchen. Keine abgerundeten Ecken an den Glasplatten, somit hohe Schnittgefahr, wodurch ich mir eine Schnittverletzung zugezogen habe. An der Rezeption hat die leider nur schlecht deutsch sprechende Mitarbeiterin das Problem nicht erkannt. Abhilfe wurde nicht geschaffen. Weitere viele Mängel, ein wahres Armutszeugnis für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel!

I recently stayed at the Hotel Steinplatz for business, and was pleasantly surprised by the staff's polite, professional and very friendly customer service. Also, the restaurant was delicious. I was in a group of six and reception made it very easy to book and took care of all and any of our needs. I would highly recommend this hotel!!

Very comfortable, quite lovely rooms with attention to detail and quality in every element. The bed is so comfortable that we slept for 13 hours the first night! The shower is perfect. The treats are delicious and inexpensive. The staff is AMAZING !! So friendly and nice !

Nothing less than 5 stars for this boutique hotel! Great ambience, super breakfast in a quaint and cute setting and wonderful service. Lukas at the front desk was amazing throughout our stay. He also helped us by suggesting great restaurants and making reservations for us. Overall , A memorable stay indeed!

I am really happy I chose to stay at Hotel am Steinplatz on my first trip to Berlin. My entry-level room was actually quite large, and had a lots of openable windows facing a large inner courtyard. The room was completely silent even though the hotel was busy, first with what looked to be a wedding, and then with a ton of business travelers. There was a separate toilet room with a tiny sink, and then a larger bathroom with a shower that even had a (frosted) window of its own. The room had a desk but the desk chair was more of a "relaxing" chair, and so it wasn't suitable for long-term laptop use. Free wifi was between 8-12 MBps in the room, and Zoom worked fine. The air conditioning worked well enough for me—in May—but you may need lighter bedding during a July heat wave. On a map, this hotel doesn't look "central," but this is actually a huge plus. It is located on a very quiet square (the "Steinplatz"), but within a 10-15 minute walk of the Zoo transit hub and less than 10 minute walk to the upscale portion of the Kurfürstendamm shopping street. Even closer are lots of restaurants, a "kiosk"-type store that is open on Sunday, and bus stops with frequent services. Later on in my trip to Berlin, I stayed at a "central" hotel (near Potsdamer Platz) and I found the neighborhood to be impersonal, lacking in any charm. Everyone working at the hotel was kind, helpful, and professional. I didn't encounter any service problems during my stay. I had the buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant every day. It was fine and very convenient, but not on the level of breakfast buffets that you'd find in Asia. Overall: a nice hotel in an excellent neighborhood, and one I'd stay at again for the price paid.

This hotel is located in the vicinity of the Berlin Zoologischer Garten station. Very convenient in the city centre. Hotel staff extended me a heartfelt hospitality during the whole period from check-in to check-out time. Among them, I was impressed by a card written by Lea. When I returned my room after a long busy final day of my stay, her heartfelt messages on the card welcomed me. I felt very relaxed by them. At the time of check-out, Lukas helped me very much to show the best way to get to the Frankfurt Airport (FRA) from the hotel. All these hospitalities would make me stay at this hotel again at the next opportunity.

We stayed here overnight in April for a quick visit. The bedroom was fantastic and massive, the front desk very friendly. The restaurant is closed for lunch, but our room service meal was absolutely the best I have ever eaten. Excellent breakfast. 10/10 recommend.

This beautiful stylish hotel was exactly what I was looking for. Our room 401 was spacious and beautiful, overlooking the Steinplatz. It was quiet although it was facing the street. Very clean, and enough space in the closet, which is something problematic in some hotels. The staff in the front desk was always extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Had whatever you'd wish for. We also had one night dinner, was gourmet and was served so nice . We enjoyed our stay tremendously!

Spent an extra weekend here after a mid-week work trip to Berlin. The entire experience was superb. The only thing better than the location was the staff. The zoo, the train station, shopping, the Tiergarten and plenty of charming restaurants are all within a 12 minute walk. Staff was super accommodating and helped us extend an extra day so we could enjoy the zoo. Highly recommend!
