Gaestehaus Bergwald

Location was perfect, just five minutes outside of town. Room and entire facility were super clean. Bathroom was modern and beds were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and able to answer all our questions about the area. Breakfast provided sliced meats and cheeses, tea or coffee, juice, soft-boiled eggs and the wonderful German rolls. View from our room, number 9, was exceptional. It snowed overnight the second night we stayed and it was lovely looking out across the valley. We highly recommend and will be staying there again soon.

This is a great guesthouse just at the edge of town. Free parking is provided. The room is great and has a nice view of the mountains. The breakfast is excellent, and the owner is very nice, who also helps with itineraries. The only comments I have is that the check-in times are limited, and that no shampoo is provided in the rooms.

Unsere Wohnung, zwei Zimmer mit Bad, inkl. großer Dusche, war sauber und in sehr gutem Zustand. Watzmannblick durch alle Fenster, vom Bett oder der großen Terrasse aus, inbegriffen. Die Handtücher waren überhaupt nicht zu bemängeln, bei Bedarf wurden sie jeden Tag getauscht. Auch Getränke standen jederzeit zu fairen Preisen zur Verfügung. Das Frühstück war mit Liebe von den beiden Gastgebern zubereitet. Die Eier wurden frisch serviert. Bei gutem Wetter bestand die Möglichkeit draußen zu Frühstücken. Man konnte das Frühstück auch mit aufs Zimmer nehmen. Dort stand Geschirr, ein Wasserkocher und auch Instant - Kaffee für die Zeit außerhalb des Frühstücks bereit. Während des Frühstücks wurde man vom Besitzer bzgl. Wandermöglichkeiten, Touristischen Attraktionen, Wetteraussichten etc. hervorragend beraten. Insgesamt eine gemütliche, sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.
