My wife, Janet, and I enjoyed a two-night getaway at Fairview Manor Bed and Breakfast Inn, arriving 12/28/2022 and departing 12/30/2022. Our room had a comfortable king bed. There is a large shared sitting room. Feels like great-grandma's house. The first night, we were the only guests on the property. The innkeepers, Gael and Jack, had a room in the same building. Our room was quiet. Bathroom was tiny, toilet and shower, with the sink in our room. There is no television for guests. We used the internet wifi to stream Netflix on my laptop. Mostly did a lot of reading. The hosts were friendly and gave helpful tips for the area. Gael is a great cook and made two beautiful breakfasts, included with the room. We were a little disappointed the fireplace in sitting room needs repair and couldn't be used. One restaurant in Ben Lomond and plenty of other choices in nearby towns, less than 15 minutes away. Close to Santa Cruz and Henry Cowell Redwoods. We stopped at Big Basin on the way home. A very cozy getaway!

No only is Gael the most gracious host you can hope to meet, she is a great storyteller, and makes the best breakfasts! Our room was comfortable, and the atmosphere is tasteful and peaceful. A gem in Ben Lomond! Christine and Thomas

A wonderful and magical place to recharge and be one with nature. The enormous and beautiful sky high trees surrounding this historic property is what you will see first. As soon as you enter the gates and walk into the Fairview Manor you will feel special. The ambiance was healing and the breakfast was 5 star. Gayle is a superb cook (chef) healthy and simple food that enriches your body and soul for the day ahead. Be sure to take the hike at Henry Cowell Park called the Fern Creek trail about a 5 mile hike. You will be transformed physically and spiritually. Jack is always ready for any questions about the area or any thing you may need. Very informative and charming. Great place to find your peace. I'll be back and highly recommend this one of a kind oasis!!
